One of the best things about Call of Duty multiplayer is the killstreak rewards. Getting a set number of kills and being rewarded with greatness such as an attack helicopter, a predator missile, an AC-130 airship, and even a nuke can bring such an amazing amount of fun and excitement to an essentially saturated genre. The latest installment in the Call of Duty series, Black Ops, has just had a leak on a few of it’s killstreaks recently. Oh, and guess what…

Ok so I came home to read this and I felt like my dad bought me a new bike and I was 13 years old. Holy shit! but wait… there is no nuke, Treyarch, please add a nuke. The whole challenge of kill streaks is to get this very hard game ending device. I do like where you are going with the homage to old school cold war weaponry, that makes me hard.
If I had to be the most excited about any of them it would be the dogs, because its such a high kill streak unlike World at War, and they would hopefully do lots of carnage!

Seems cool but a lot of them have been taken straight from MW2. Not that that’s a bad thing, I just was expecting a lot more new ones
why in gods name would you want that nuke? sure its fun to get in a legit way but hackers are just gona ruin the game cause they get 25 headshots in 3 seconds then boom game over. Thats the one killstreak that needs to be dropped. Imo the list is fine as is, if they had like a few different killstreaks between 4-11 but thats its NO DAMN NUKE!
I am glad they didn’t include the nuke. Frankly the nuke promoted camping gameplay tactics. It will be nice to see if this game promotes a more competitive, run and gun mentality. BTW Rolling Thunder will most probably be a vicious air strike, most probably a carpet bombing run much like the Stealth Bomber killstreak in MW2.
After watching the vids that featured the SR71 gameplay, I wonder if the Blackbird will be much like the AC130. Hmmm dogs again. Gonna be some puppies getting knifed.
I am excited for this game but mostly for the customization to the logos, guns, and gear.

Was hoping for more new ones. I mean REAL new ones, not just from WAW or MW2. thank good they didn’t add that nuke but did they really have to keep the dogs?? I don’t know about the rest of you guys, but not a lot of these say “black-ops” I would imagine that more clock and dagger type of kill streaks where here. The RC car with the C4 is sweet though.
Okay, hacking aside (boo hackers) I enjoy the challenge, and find it to be very rewarding to nuke everyone, as would you right?

Over-saturating the multiplayer with killstreaks ruined the MW2 multiplayer in my opinion. In COD4 and W@W killstreaks merely supplemented the mp and were a nice reward for outplaying your opponent, but in MW2 they dominate the multiplayer. People hide in corners and camp for killstreaks rather than face each other. Teams are decimated because they’re spawning with AC-130′s, harriers, and predator missiles raining down on their heads. More than half of player’s kills don’t even come from their rifles.

The guy hiding in a corner gets over 20 kills and everyone else can’t even spawn…unbelievable. I’m done with COD.
Thats how you play the game…. If you want to get a nuke yes you have to hide man. And he got up to 7 kills with a rifle for the harriers. Or he went 5 7 11, and got a predator. Its how some people play, may I suggest joining a clan and using earpieces to co ordinate teamwork.
