Here at EpicBattleAxe our mission is rather simple…We aim to empower and inform the gaming masses as we seek to create THE BEST PLACE to passionately and productively discuss the gaming issues of the day. We love gaming, we CARE about gaming, and as hardcore gamers ourselves, we think we got a pretty good feel about what you boys and girls want out of a cool-ass website.
Well, one thing WE LOVE and APPRECIATE is gaming music…While each project is different, we at the ‘Axe feel that game music is a UNIQUE, WONDERFUL, and EXTREMELY IMPORTANT aspect of the interactive entertainment experience. As a result, you’re gonna be seeing A LOT more about game music and the folks that make it over the coming weeks, months, and years here on the ‘Axe!
To kick things off, we’re really proud to launch the EpicBattleTRAX game music player! Basically, this is a web-based audio player that allows you to listen to a continually growing library of game music while finding out more about its creators and gaining access to purchase/support the music/artists you love. We’re teaming up with industry insiders to deliver exclusive access to certain tracks and will even DEBUT new game music from within the player down the line!!! Best of all, you can listen to all of the tracks for FREE and enjoy them as many times as you want by simply booting up the player here on EpicBattleAxe.com so be on the lookout for those up top near the EBA logo, within the nav bar, and over in the left nav.
So, we hope you enjoy listening to and exploring the game music scene while making EpicBattleTRAX a part of your overall EBA experience! Hell, you can just keep it on all day as you surf the web! Whatever you do, just have fun and enjoy some of gaming’s finest tunes! We’ll soon be posting links to the player on the main page so you can quickly and easily launch it each time you visit EpicBattleAxe.com!
Alright gang, if you have any comments, suggestions or questions regarding the EpicBattleTRAX game music player, feel free to use the comments section below this post to submit them and we’ll do our best to check out each and every one! Now, add some atmosphere to your day and go enjoy some EpicBattleTRAX!!!

hell yeah!!!
just a few days ago I was thinking… “the only way EBA can become even more awesome, is by adding a ‘game-music-jukebox’, of some kind – which features all the quality scores, by my favorite composeres…”
and POW!! there it is! :O
damn, I really love you guys!
keep it up!
That’s freaking awesome. Fantastic idea guys. For some tunes to chill out, I would recommend adding the “Braid” soundtrack if that’s possible.
And am I just blind, or is there no link to the player on the main page (other than through this thread here)? Anyway, another great addition to the awesomeness that is EBA! Thanks!
This is damn snazzy! I’d personally like to see some music from the original Bioshock, the Resident Evil series, and Metro 2033 just off the top of my head. Excellent selection so far! Keep the awesomeness coming!
Holy SHIT! Sweeeeeeeeeeeet
NNNNNNNNNNNNNICE
Thumbs up to EBA
This is a very good idea, you guys should put a play button on the top of the site, That way you just click it and enjoy.
Theeeeeey’re baaaaa-aaaaack!
Best game music of all freakin time,
SILENT HILL SOUNDTRACKS!!
followed by the last ninja series on c64
Awesome Idea Guys
Now I can listen to vid game music whenever I want with the help of EBC
[...] of all, you can sample the music from PoP The Forgotten Sands on the Wii right here, right now via the newly launched EpicBattleTRAX game music [...]
Sweet, I especially like the simplicity of the player. No, seriously!
As much as I like all the features of your website (and as much as I use them), guys, they are TOO MUCH! At least for a single page. You can tell that the browser is slower when I have at least one page of EBA open in another tab. And furthermore YouTube and GameTrailer clips always hang a sec. When I then close the EBA tab the browser always gets a noticeable speed boost.
No wonder if you consider what’s up there on your site! There is always a YouTube vid, five headlines from five affiliate gaming news sites, a poll, the Twitter live feed, the recent forum topics, the recent comments, image galleries … plus all the ads! And all features are on each subpage (or microsite or whatever the proper term is). You can spread the features somehow.
Please clean up a bit! I am dead serious.
