If you were expecting to pick up Brutal Legend on the Wii, well, it appears you’re “Rocktober” is going to be a sad, lonely month. Although never 100% official, the often rumored and generally expected version of the game (come on…it’s EA…) was recently confirmed to be in development at a studio other than Double Fine (who is making the 360/PS3 version of course), and then promptly confirmed to be canned due to “quality and technical concerns.”

So, what hurts worse…Never having confirmed a highly-anticipated game’s development for the platform or canceling development of a game that was never confirmed??? You decide!
