When EA and BioWare recently announced that Mass Effect 2 would be landing on the PlayStation 3 in January 2011, it’s safe to say that the news was accompanied by mixed emotions on behalf of the veteran RPG-maker’s fan-base. Obviously, it’s great that PS3 owners will soon get their hands on one of the most highly-praised RPGs of this generation, but in the grand scheme of things, should BioWare fans feel the need to be concerned over the announcement?

On this week’s edition of EpicBattleCry we try to make sense of it all by discussing whether or not the BioWare many fans have come to know and love is fading away under the outstretched arm of new publisher Electronic Arts. After all, does the simple fact that the renowned “quality over quantity” developer is going to release a second installment of a franchise to an entire audience with no way of playing the first say anything meaningful about its core values? Now that we can almost guarantee a simultaneous PS3, PC, and 360 launch of Mass Effect 3, should we be worried that the game itself will suffer from “going mainstream”?

Obviously, there are A LOT of questions and very few answers, but the point of this week’s Member BattleCry topic is to evaluate the state of BioWare from YOUR perspective and productively discuss the scenario we gamers are faced with. This is NOT a conversation about PS3 vs 360, so check your inner fanboy at the door…This is about discussing a talented studio coming from humble beginnings and evolving into a much larger company that took a boat load of cash to become a part of a much bigger corporation. Does BioWare’s position within EA simply mean that more gamers will have the chance to experience their great games? Has joining EA made BioWare a slave to the “bottom line” where games are less about quality and more about units sold? What should long-time fans of the developer feel about their current objectives and the quality of the experiences they put forth? So, It’s with these thoughts in mind that we post the following Member BattleCry Topic Starter question to you:

DO YOU THINK BIOWARE IS HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION?

Again, this topic is in NO WAY meant to be a battle about PS3 vs. 360, PC, or any other platform…It is simply about BioWare becoming one of the big boys for EA and the ramifications that will have (if any) on their ability to create the types of experiences fans have come to enjoy so much. If you need a refresher before speaking your mind, you can check out the most recent BioWare news on EBA right here. Bring any angle to the discussion you like, but please stay on point and do your best to contribute to a quality discussion this week on the ‘Axe. Of course, we’ll be selecting the Member BattleCry of the Week to be featured on the next Skirmish of EpicBattleCry, so be on the lookout for that!

Also, take a moment to vote in the poll about BioWare this week as we collectively Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard!!! Thank in advance for your input and enjoy this week’s Member BattleCries here on EpicBattleAxe.com!

Cheers,
This past week the gaming world was rocked by the announcement of Irrational’s BioShock Infinite. I was fortunate enough to be on-hand for the event and lemme tell ya, it was a grand unveiling. The tone of every person behind the project, the venue, and of course the game itself seemed to suggest that while BioShock fans will feel a sense of familiarity, Infinite is vastly different in almost every way. We discuss the announcement on the most recent Skirmish of EpicBattleCry and dive into a conversation about developers playing it save with proven formulas or going out on a limp to experiment with new ideas, locations, characters, etc. We know how we feel about the matter, but this week on the ‘Axe we’re opening up the floor to get YOUR input pertaining to what you like to see in sequels. So, It’s with these thoughts in mind that we post the following Member BattleCry Topic Starter question to you:

WHEN IT COMES TO SEQUELS, DO YOU PREFER ORIGINALITY OR STICKING WITH WHAT WORKS?

Sure, it’s a tough question, but we want you to think about games/franchises that you love and evaluate those that have mostly remained the same (like Zelda for instance) or those that have mixed it up…With BioShock Infinite’s setting and characters vastly different from its predecessors, do you think Irrational is making a decision fans will be excited about or are they risking too much in reinventing Rapture? As always, we hope you participate in a constructive conversation on the topic this week. Don’t bash anyone else’s opinions and please feel free to make your own known. We’ll be selecting the Member BattleCry of the Week to be featured on the next skirmish of EpicBattleCry so be on the lookout for that!

Also, we’ve set up a poll for to gather your feedback on the the BioShock Infinite announcement, so be sure and take a moment to cast your vote as we collectively Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard!!!

Cheers,
It’s time for another week of discussion here on EpicBattleAxe.com, but instead of looking out into the void for our topic, we’re turning the tables to examine YOU, the gamers of the EBA Community. How you ask? Well, with the industry at a cross-roads and so many lines being drawn in the sand, we thought it would be a good time for the gamers of the world to look a bit within themselves and as why they game in the first place. Do you enjoy gaming for the challenge it provides? Are you a “story first, gameplay second” kind of gamer? What about looking at the medium from an artistic or technological point of view?

You see, unlike other mediums, gaming is vastly different at what it offers depending on what you’re seeking to get out of it. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at learning how diverse the medium can be once you start seeing some responses rolling in here. I know discussing this very topic on Skirmish 085 of EpicBattleCry opened my eyes to a lot of things about the medium, which is why we’re proud to use EBA as a platform to discuss the topic this week. So, It’s with these thoughts in mind that we post the following Member BattleCry Topic Starter question to you:

WHY DO YOU GAME?

Obviously, this is an open-ended question, but that’s kind of the point. Why? Well, because there is no right or wrong answer…there can only your thoughts on what the experience of gaming means to you! We hope this insightful look at our community sparks an interest in seeing the medium from multiple angles and we thank all of the Axe heads in advance for constructively commenting below! We’ll be picking the best BattleCry as the Member BattleCry of the Week which will be featured on Skirmish 085 of EBC.

Also, we’ve set up a poll for to address the question from a top-line perspective, so be sure and take a moment to cast your vote as we collectively Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard!!! Enjoy!

Cheers,
Welcome Axeheads to yet another week of discussion here on EpicBattleAxe.com! Before we begin, I wanted to give a special shout out to any and all that contributed to our conversation last week pertaining to video game reviews. As many of you know, the point of EBA is to provide a productive platform for gamers and industry folk alike to speak their mind, challenge relevant issues, and CRY HAVOC to LET THEIR VOICE BE HEARD! Last week provided some great ideas and feedback regarding an important facet of the industry, and I’m super proud that EBA can be at the center of that discussion.

So, on to this week then…With Comic-Con 2010 now in the books, we’re figuring pretty much ALL of the big comic or super-hero-themed games on the horizon have been made known to the masses. Question is, which one are YOU looking forward to the most? I mean, there are PLENTY to choose from, but is there a specific game that you simply can’t wait to get your hands on? What about a title that you feel has the chance to prove your fav super-hero is indeed the coolest of all? It’s with these thoughts in mind that we post the following Member BattleCry Topic Starter question to you:

WHICH UPCOMING COMIC / SUPER-HERO-THEMED GAME ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MOST?

Of course, the discussion is wide open so feel free to name any game so long as it includes some comic/super-heor goodness. Also, as always, respect other people’s opinions when commenting. We’re not starting a “Character X can beat the shit out of Character Z” topic here…we’re trying to gauge your particular interest in relevant upcoming games. Give us, and your fellow Axeheads, a reason to be just as excited as you by constructively commenting below! We’ll be picking the best BattleCry as the Member BattleCry of the Week which will be featured on Skirmish 085 of EBC.

Lastly, pick from the list in this week’s poll to let us know which game you’re the most excited about! Alright gang, it’s time to kick off another week of discussion as we collectively Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard!!! Enjoy!

Cheers,
Lo’ ye children of the ‘Axe! It’s time to collectively Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard on yet another important issue facing the gaming industry today. As discussed on Skirmish 083 of EpicBattleCry, this week we’re gathering YOUR input pertaining to the state of video game reviews. That’s right, the highly-controversial topic is invading the ‘Axe with one purpose in mind; TO GET SOME RESULTS! You see, it appears that basically everyone has a slightly different opinion on game reviews. Should scores matter as much as they do? Should scores be included at all? What about the tone of the review? How often do you find reviews to be truly helpful in making a purchasing decision?

There are A LOT of questions surrounding this important industry topic and the goal here this week is to constructively generate feedback from REAL gamers that we hope to pass on and ultimately influence how things get done. So, with that in mind, please take a moment to answer this week’s Member BattleCry Topic Starter:

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE CURRENT STATE OF GAME REVIEWS AND HOW DO REVIEWS INFLUENCE YOUR PURCHASING DECISIONS?

As a reminder, everyone is free to state their own personal opinion. There is no right or wrong, just suggestions. Keep the conversation constructive and DO NOT bash anyone else’s idea or opinion. If you’ve got a counter point then make it – but don’t disrupt the conversation by being a jerk. Simple as that. Of course, we’ll be checking the Member BattleCries all week long and then selecting one Member BattleCry of the Week that will be showcased on the next skirmish of EpicBattleCry.

Oh, and we’re also asking you to cast your vote in the EpicBattleAxe.com poll this week regarding your perception of game reviews. Between the poll and your MBCs, we hope to generate some great feedback for the decision makers in our industry! Have fun and thanks in advance for your participation!!!

Cheers,
Greetings ye minions of the ‘Axe! DK here kicking off another round of productive discussion with this week’s Member BattleCry topic starter! Now, on the latest edition of EpicBattleCry, we discussed A LOT of things pertaining to DLC. From console-exclusive add-ons to stand alone games, the realm of DLC and digital distribution is quickly becoming a HUGE factor in the gaming industry (in fact, it already is!). So, with that in mind, we’re posing the following question as this week’s Member BattleCry topic starter in order to gauge the TYPE of content our legion of Axe heads loves the most:

WHICH PIECE OF DLC HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE THUS FAR AND WHY?

As always, the discussion is WIDE OPEN. Just be courtesy to your fellow posters and respect other people’s opinions. You can mention any piece of content you want as long as you had to download it to play it. Map packs, single-player add-ons, full games…WHATEVER. The point is to see how many of you appreciate one TYPE of content over another and to generate some feedback for the pubs/devs out there who need to make decisions about how to handle DLC for their games/IPs. Why? Well, we wanna generate some productive dialogue around here! It’s hard for people to give us what we want if we don’t TELL THEM what we want! Of course, we’ll be checking the Member BattleCries all week long and then selecting one Member BattleCry of the Week that will be showcased on the next skirmish of EpicBattleCry.

Also, take a sec to vote in our poll this week (located in the sidebar) to help get some raw data compiled on the types of downloadable content you enjoy the most. It should be a fun week of discussion as we collectively Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard!!! Enjoy!

Cheers,
DK

That’s right, as discussed on the latest Skirmish of EBC, we’re asking you to sound off on the game’s that took a good franchise and made it GREAT! Or, if you prefer, games that tipped the scales and made a particular series memorable by adding that little extra something (or someone) to put it over the edge. Hell, while we’re on the subject, let us know which games you thought solidified a specific brand, elevated the questionable status of a now iconic character, or otherwise defined a franchise (and perhaps a genre) with its greatness! So, with that in mind, we’re posing the following question as this week’s Member BattleCry topic starter:

WHICH GAME SEQUEL IS YOUR FAVORITE AND WHY?

You know the rules gang…Any game from any generation…so long as it is a true sequel and you have a valid point. As usual, this discussion IS NOT a flame war to bash other people’s opinions…Make your point, have fun, respect others, or get the hell out. We’ll be checking the Member BattleCries all week long and then selecting one Member BattleCry of the Week that will be showcased on the next skirmish of EpicBattleCry.

Also, don’t forget to vote in our poll this week about one of the more talked about sequels in the industry right now, Dragon Age 2! As always, we anxiously await your feedback so keep your comments coming as we collectively Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard!!!

Cheers,
On this week’s edition of the ole’ EpicBattleCry, we discussed what makes goes into making a good video game character. Of course, there are SOOOO many variables, including the genre and style of game, but on the whole, over the years certain characters have stood the test of time and found a secure place within our hearts and minds. So, with that in mind, we’re using this week’s Member BattleCry topic starter as a way to figure out YOUR TAKE on the most memorable, influential characters in gaming, which is why we pose the following question to you:

WHICH VIDEO GAME CHARACTER IS YOUR FAVORITE AND WHY?

Obviously, you can choose any character from any time on any system…As long as they’ve been in at least one game, you’re submission will count. Do you prefer complex, deep characters with a rich back story or more simplistic characters that are simply fun? Have you ever fantasized about being a particular video game character or wondered why other gamers don’t relate to a particular hero or heroine the way that you do? Use the comments section below to sound off and let the EBA Community know! We’ll be checking the Member BattleCries all week long and then selecting one Member BattleCry of the Week that will be showcased on the next skirmish of EpicBattleCry.

Also, since Metal Gear Solid Rising, a game that will see a popular franchise use a different lead character, was a part of the discussion on EBC this week, we’re polling the EBA crowd to see how they think the project will turn out. You can vote in the sidebar anywhere on the site, so don’t forget to chime in! We’re looking forward to your feedback and hope you have a fun time contributing to the discussion as we collectively Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard about the best video game characters in the biz!

Cheers,
Well gang, another year, another E3 in the books. Obviously, it was a busy time for the entire industry and we here at the ‘Axe hope you enjoyed our coverage of the event which delivered a TON of new news, big reveals, and so on. From new hardware (3DS anyone!) and new ways to play (Kinect, Move) to big announcements (Twisted Metal returns!) and a steady stream of media, it was certainly an eventful week in gaming. That said, when it comes down to it, for us E3 is all about the GAMES! With an impressive roster of quality titles on all platforms, it seemed like the competition for “Game of Show” was at an all-time high. Honestly, I didn’t feel like there was a single “runaway” game that defined the show, but rather numerous games that generated significant buzz. Now that we’ve had some time to soak it all in though, we’re gonna task you with telling us what YOUR favorite game of E3 2010 was. So, with that in mind, we’re posing the following question as this week’s Member BattleCry topic starter:

WHICH GAME OF E3 2010 WAS YOUR PERSONAL FAV?

I know, I know…hard questions, but what we want to do here is open up the floor to hear from our community about exactly WHY a particular game stood out to them. This IS NOT a flame war to bash other people’s opinions…DO NOT criticize someone else’s post simply because you don’t agree. Everyone here is entitled to their own opinion and I’m hoping that we’ll all be turned out to something that we may have missed or overlooked when the conversation is said and done. We’ll be checking the Member BattleCries all week long and then selecting one Member BattleCry of the Week that will be showcased on the next skirmish of EpicBattleCry.

Also, we’re going super top line, but we encourage you to vote in our poll which simply asks you to tell us whether you think Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo had the better show. You can vote in the sidebar anywhere on the site, so don’t forget to chime in! We’re looking forward to your feedback gang so keep your comments coming as we Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard about the games of E3 2010!!!

Cheers,
E3 2010 is just a week away and as the gaming world prepare to collectively go nutso, we’re taking the time to give YOU a platform to speak your mind about all of the good, bad, and ugly associated with the show. That’s right, over the next two weeks, while the EpicBattleAxe.com team and pretty much everyone else in the industry is busy covering the show, we’re using the Member BattleCry section of the site to let you sound off on what you love, what you hate, and what YOU THOUGHT was gonna be great. Why? Well, from big game announcements to boring press conferences, various website coverage, E3 no-shows, busty booth babes and everything in-between, there’s ALWAYS something to sound off on. We’re sharing our thoughts on the show in Skirmish 078 of EpicBattleCry (coming your way Monday evening on the ‘Axe!), but now we wanna hear form YOU! So, with that in mind, I offer unto thee the following Member BattleCry Topic Starter question to last you through ALL of E3!:

TELL US WHAT YOU LOVE OR HATE, DESPISE OR APPRECIATE THE MOST ABOUT E3 2010?

Like I mentioned, this could basically be ANYTHING! We’re opening the floor so feel free to speak your mind. Loved a particular interview you saw? Let your fellow Axe Heads know! Pissed off that your favorite game is getting overlooked at E3? Let your voice be heard! Did you flip out over a particular trailer, game reveal, special announcement, etc? We’re making this THE place for gamers to collectively chime in about all that they loved or hated from this year’s big show. Consider it Rant and Rave central…We’ll bring the glow sticks…

So, I think you know the drill…With all of the pre-E3 announcements, you can basically start any time if you already have something to sound off on. We’ll be checking the site and doing our best to highlight the best of the bunch and of course we’ll be on-site in Los Angeles during the main event and updating EpicBattleAxe.com like mad with news, features, and the shenanigans you’ve come to know and love!

That’s all for now, but let’s keep up the communication throughout the biggest week in gaming as we collectively CRY HAVOC AND LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD!

Cheers gang,
DK

P.S. – Don’t forget to vote in our poll which highlights a few key titles (we can’t list em ALL!) and attempts to gauge your interest on which one you’re the most excited about!!!

We’re a day late on posting this week’s Member BattleCry Topic Starter, but it’s only because this mammoth event known as the Electronic Entertainment Expo is sneaking up on us faster than a cracked-out Solid Snake. In other words, things are getting mighty busy around here and you can almost taste the excitement as we draw closer and closer to this year’s main event.

Now, as we mentioned in this week’s Skirmish of EpicBattleCry, there will be no episode of the show in the week ahead as we prep for the big event, so we figured we’d use the next TWO WEEKS of Member BattleCry-ing to gauge YOUR excitement for all things E3! We’re gonna come back strong with a pre-E3 episode breaking down what everyone (including us) is looking forward to the most, so now is your time to sound off on exactly WHAT you think will your fellow Axe Heads should be the most excited for. What will steal the show? What surprises are in store? Which games will set themselves apart from the crowd? With that in mind, I offer unto thee the following Member BattleCry Topic Starter question:

WHAT SINGLE THING ARE YOU THE MOST EXCITED TO SEE AT E3 2010?

Obviously, this doesn’t have to be just a game…If you’re pumped for Natal, let us know! Jacked about Sony’s Move? Jot down your thoughts. In fact, I encourage you to think outside the box and make a few PREDICTIONS if you’re totally excited for an as-of-yet-unannounced sequel or new IP from a beloved developer that you hope makes its debut at E3 2010! As always, we’ll be selecting a new MBC each day here on EpicBattleAxe.com and then selecting one Member BattleCry of the Week that will be showcased on the next skirmish of EpicBattleCry, coming your way the week of May 5, 2010.

Alright, that’s all for now, but be sure to sound off as we gauge the hype level for all things E3! Cry Havoc and LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD! It’s what the pre-E3 fun is all about!!!

Cheers gang,
Last week the gaming industry was set on fire by the EA’s controversial announcement of the new ‘Online Pass’, a system that blatantly attempts to cash in on the used game market by requiring all second hand copies of its popular sports titles to be locked out of online play/features unless a one time, $10 registration code is purchased to enable traditionally free functionality. While gamers buying new versions of the products that incorporate the Online Pass really won’t feel a difference (aside from the added step of entering a validation code), the system isn’t without its flaws and there are A LOT of controversial aspects to its implementation.

We discuss the topic quite thoroughly on Skirmish 076 of EpicBattleCry and encourage feedback to our conversation within the show’s post once it goes live (coming soon!). This week’s Member BattleCry topic however is attempting to be PROACTIVE and gather YOUR INPUT as to how a system like EA’s Online Pass can be implemented in a way that is both meaningful and appreciated by everyone involved. Daunting task, I know, but we here at EBA truly want to impact the industry and feel that gathering your thoughts on the matter is always the best place to start. Last week’s Gaming Matters was a well put together piece that breaks down the situation, so if you haven’t read that yet, we suggest you do. Once you’re ready, put your thinking cap on and prepare to address this week’s topic starter question:

HOW WOULD YOU HANDLE THE ONLINE PASS SITUATION IN A MEANINGFUL WAY FOR GAMERS?

We’re looking for specific examples here, gang. Think of an EA Sports franchise or any franchise really and break down how YOU would think charging the second hand market would make sense. The facts are that companies like EA are GOING TO DO THIS no matter what, but if we raise our voices loud enough, perhaps we can impact the way in-which these things are implemented. . As always, we’ll be selecting a new MBC each day here on EpicBattleAxe.com and then selecting one Member BattleCry of the Week that will be showcased on the next skirmish of EpicBattleCry.

Well, that’s gonna do it for now, but check back daily to see which MBCs get featured here on EpicBattleAxe.com and keep your comments coming as we Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard on this very important topic!!!

Cheers gang,

This week brings about the announcement of Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet 2 and with it comes a world of possibilities for the suppressed game maker in all of us to explore. For those unfamiliar, LBP2 is looking to take a user-generated platformer and turn it into a PLATFORM for games. Of course, this will be accomplished mostly through the content that the LBP2 community creates and this got us thinking about the state of user generated content (UGC) in gaming today. From the original LittleBigPlanet to old-school RPGs there have been a TON of games that support UGC, but have there been specific titles that have truly gotten UGC right? Are there specific franchises that you would like to see incorporate UGC that currently don’t? What would the content creation in those games be like? So, with that in mind and LBP2 serving as inspiration, we’re posing the following two-part question as this week’s Member BattleCry topic starter:

WHICH TITLES HAVE NAILED USER GENERATED CONTENT AND WHICH FRANCHISES CAN BENEFIT FROM INCORPORATING UGC?

Of course, this is a pretty open-ended topic so feel free to get creative and explore what UGC means to you and how you best see it working in the games you love. Anyone who has ever used a content creation kit for a favorite RPG, developed their own levels in Excitebike, or designed their own maps via an FPS mod will know exactly what we’re shooting for here. Remember, EBA is all about generating insightful, productive discussions and we hope the game devs/pubs read YOUR THOUGHTS on how to best approach User Generated Content. As always, we’ll be selecting a new MBC each day here on EpicBattleAxe.com and then selecting one Member BattleCry of the Week that will be showcased on the next skirmish of EpicBattleCry.

Also, don’t forget to vote in our poll that attempts to gauge which of the popular genres our community would choose to make their very own game in! Keep in mind that creating a game is A LOT of work, so if tasked with the project, you’d have be pretty damn passionate (and talented) in order to pull of a game within a particular genre…Alright, that’s it for now, but check back daily to see which MBCs get featured here on EpicBattleAxe.com and keep your comments coming as we Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard!!!

Cheers gang,
We’ve all been there…A big time movie is getting ready to come out, you’re pumped beyond belief…You long to see how the inevitable game tie-in will put YOU in the shoes of the flick’s main character(s) and provide the opportunity to experience the film in a completely different way. Then, like clockwork, the film is great but the game sucks major ass!!! WHY! Why does this seem to happen more often than not? Well, on this week’s skirmish of EpicBattleCry (releasing tomorrow) we ask that very question and in an effort productively impact the industry, we now ask YOU to sound off with some input of your own. Are developers trying too hard to match the film? Should they be going a completely different route? If there MUST be small turn around times on these types of projects, what would be the best use of that time? So, with that in mind, we’re posing the following question as this week’s Member BattleCry topic starter:

WHAT DO YOU WANT OUT OF THE FILM-TO-GAME EXPERIENCE?

Obviously, there are some pretty big Hollywood blockbusters coming out soon (Iron Man 2 releases this week!) and the subsequent game tie-ins might be continuing the woeful trend mentioned above. So, be creative and use this year’s big flicks or ANY film-to-game possibility to share your thoughts on how these projects could be handled. Remember, EBA is all about generating insightful, productive discussions and we hope the game devs/pubs read YOUR THOUGHTS on how to best approach these projects. As always, we’ll be selecting a new MBC each day here on EpicBattleAxe.com and then selecting one Member BattleCry of the Week that will be showcased on the next skirmish of EpicBattleCry.

Also, don’t forget to vote in our poll that gets your take on the release of the Iron Man 2 video game!!! Alright, that’s gonna do it for now, but check back daily and let keep your comments coming as we Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard!!!

Cheers gang,
No matter how long you’ve been playing games, chances are you’ve felt the impact of Cacpom at some point. The long-running, influential company has provided so many classic gaming experiences that they’re kind of hard to count. From Street Fighter to Mega Man, many of us grew up with Capcom games at our side and more recently, new franchises such as Dead Rising and Lost Planet have looked to diversify both the company’s roster and reach within the landscape of gaming. Well, on Skirmish 073 of EpicBattleCry we bring up last week’s big news out of the Capcom camp. Sure, we debate the decision making process and even whether or not Capcom actually LISTENS to its fans, but current issues aside, there’s no doubting the influence that Capcom has had on the industry. Obviously, this is because of the memorable franchises that they have delivered, which will be the topic of this week’s discussion on EpicBattleAxe.com, and brings us to this week’s Member BattleCry question:

WHICH CAPCOM FRANCHISE IS YOUR FAVORITE AND WHY?

Now, you can pick from anything that Capcom has every put out…It doesn’t matter when or where, just as long as its Capcom…Got some love for Rival Schools? Have fond memories of Ghosts ‘n Goblins? Hey, what about Viewtiful Joe?!?!? We wanna put our fingers on the pulse of the EBA Community to see which franchises truly, uh, CAPTIVATE! As always, we’ll be selecting a new MBC each day here on EpicBattleAxe.com and then selecting one Member BattleCry of the Week that will be showcased on the next skirmish of EpicBattleCry.

Also, don’t forget to vote in our poll that has hand-picked a few of the bigger Capcom franchises to see which ones the EBA Community is the most fond of! We won’t include them ALL, but we do as you to select from the ones provided and cast your vote! Alright, that’s gonna do it for now, but check back daily and let keep your comments coming as we Cry Havoc and Let Our Voices Be Heard!!!

Cheers gang,
