Remember back when the E3 trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution was released and I basically flipped out about how freakin’ awesome it was? I commented on the kick-ass atmosphere of the trailer (viewable above) which is due in no small its music, and today I’m happy to let you know that the mp3 of said music from said trailer has been made available to download…FOR FREE!
If you haven’t already watched the trailer, you can check it out above. The music was composed by the talented Michael McCann (Splinter Cell: Double Agent), who will also score the rest of the music from the highly-anticipated game.
The audio file was actually released during E3, but I missed the update what with all of the madness happening around me, so sorry for the delay in letting you know, but I guess it’s better to know late than never, right? So, head here and snag that puppy while you can. We’ll be adding it and more audio goodness from McCann’s promising soundtrack to the EpicBattleTRAX music player sometime soon!

The atmosphere of this game is seriously starting to show through. The attention to detail is over whelming, I just hope the final game is as good as this.
I guess only time will tell, seriously though what’s not to love! kinda hoping they make these CGI trailers into a possible movie, something that should be explored more for future films based on games.
I’m sure a CGI Halo or Metal Gear movie would make mega dosh. Well, compared to a live action film anyways.
So completely average and straight from a preset. There are so many talented and original musicians out there trying to make it but even in scoring a game everyone plays it safe.
If anyone thinks this is quality electronic music, you haven’t heard much of it.
To this date only one game succeeded in having a great electronic score. Tron 2.0. It had that damn commercial undertone but man was it a brilliant production.

I love the score, the only downer of the whole MP3 made available is that loads on Quicktime and if you don’t have Quicktime 7 (which you have to buy) you can’t download the file…nice move there, Apple. Greedy bastards should be already satisfied with the sale of their iCrap. >.<
Cheers axeheads
@raisins, all you gota do is right click on the link and save as.
@ihaymehr, I’m sure your high standards serve you well.
@ihaymehr
Taste in music is 100% subjective. I acted the same way toward music (rock/metal) throughout high school and most of college until i decided to get off my high horse and appreciate all forms of music.
That being said, I think the trailer’s score is fantastic and perfectly fits the atmosphere it’s trying to convey. That trailer totally captured my imagination and in no small part due to the music.
You make it sound as if we lack some hidden knowledge you’re privy to. Even if I were to listen to any of the talented musicians you speak of, I wouldn’t go back and say, “Huh… I don’t like this anymore.”
Example: In high school, I loved Slipknot. Granted, in the last 10 years I’ve experienced many, far superior metal bands, but if you were to get out a stereo and play any tune from Slipknot’s self-titled record in front of me, I’d still rock out.
