If you’ve seen the new trailer for Dragon Age: Origins, you know two things. First, the game is doing a great job living up to its “dark fantasy” aspect by depicting some hardcore characters doing hardcore things. Second, the DarkSpawn will rise again on October 20th, 2009. In other words, that’s when the game will finally ship.
We’re excited to see how Dragon Age: Origins will turn out…especially on the consoles…and we’ll get you a full report from E3 on the matter next week.

I wonder if some people are going to be misled into thinking this is a God of War type of game, the two last trailers make the game look like a total hack and slash fest. Still pretty epic though!
I hear you Pistolero, people should be familiar enough with Bioware’s previous titles but there are obviously people who aren’t who might make that kind of comparison. Thing is, from what I have seen of the gameplay vids the fighting does look quite faithful to the CG vids. I’m still curious as to how many enemies you are able to take on at one time though.
Bring on the DarkSpawn. One thing though, i’m still not that impressed with the name Grey Wardens. After the genius that was SpecTRe, it seems a little simple.
