A post on the official BioWare blog lays out all the details on Dragon Age Journeys: The Deep Road, a new Flash game developed by EA 2D and BioWare. Described as a tactical RPG, Journeys will feature a three chapter single player campaign, though it sounds like there may be plans for further expansion. The Deep Roads, the first chapter, will feature:
“…character classes, talent trees, sound effects, music and user interface taken directly from Dragon Age: Origins. Thanks to all these resources and input from the BioWare team, it will serve as a solid introduction to the world of Dragon Age.”
No word on release date, though the post does state Journeys has been in development since Nov 2008 which might point to sooner rather than later. With Dragon Age: Origins slated to hit streets on Nov 4th (for PC and 360 at least) it would be no surprise if BioWare and EA are shooting for launch day in that vicinity.
