Awesome! New episode, cant wait to watch it

Daniel for president!
Brent for santa
Aaaaand… Tony foooor… Rudolph, sorry Tony
ahem
merry………xmas……..,TO DA GROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
last one I’ll ever do.
My EBC goes out to the developers out there who are actually willing to take a risk and try something new and different, like new gameplay mechanics, new IPs etc. I think the industry as a whole should reward those developers more. Just look at the VGAs, there were four 2s nominated for the game of the year award, and no Daniel, Im not talking about a gay orgy
Take Mirrors Edge for example. Very interesting gameplay, but a lot of video game critics just bashed it for not being perfect. They tried something new, they should be rewarded even if its just decent! Props to those kind of developers!
My EBC goes to all the gaming companys that DO NOT screw the PC like Activision and their Moder Warfart 2, I mean Modern Warfare 2 for the PC by charging $10 more and taking away our rights to mod and Dedicated servers. Company’s like Valve, Blizzard, Bioware, Obisidian and Eidos do not screw with the PC industry and if PC gaming DIES THEN A MASSIVE PARADOX WILL OCCUR. Without games there will be no reason to upgrade your rigs anymore and company’s that make parts like Nvidia and AMD will shut out causing massive layoffs and Microsoft is screwed. There is no need for Kick-ass hardware os that means Apple and Mac computers will take over and Bill Gates will be wearing a bag over his face. Even Microsoft DOOMED themselves by not supporting the computer and the console will probably not save them.
My battle cry goes out user input in the gaming industry. While user input has always been a big parts of gaming in the form of mods, and communication to the devs, its seems this year really marks the age of a large base of user input. Take for example video game awards on both spike, and multiple sites like gamespot giving the choice to the community.
Not only that but better communication to devs, for example again naughty dog is constantly changing the uncharted multiplayer due to user input, the have hosted multiple “test” weekend where they would implement a feature the community has been talking about and see how it went. If it went well and users voted for it on their website they would keep it. Or even valve using something as simple as the war weekend.
I think its easily the best part about the gaming community as a whole, you dont see this kind of dedication to the fans in other forms of media that much, im just glad i can see it in gaming.
My EBC goes out to all the video game journalist that, unlike the video game companies which are frequently taking away from gamers, are giving back to the gamer community by doing more for us. I can not think of a better example than you guys deciding to make a skirmish every day starting next year. I think it’s sad when people start to get more excited about video game reviews and articles than the games themselves. Keep on on rocking guys!
My EBC goes out to the naughty and nice argument for sony. On the podcast the decision was unanimous for sony’s entry into the nice list, however I don’t think this is their doing. For starters, they released the PSP Go without support for games purchased on the previous PSPs, they released a PS3 slim without backwards compatibility, Sony charges their users to repair broken consoles, and to this day the ps3 does not have a microphone included with each system. As much as I’d like them to be, I see valve’s argument for not being a PS3 developer. Valve has had a long history of catering to their community and letting this determine their development, while Sony has handled the PS3 and other consoles with the mentality that it is their way or no way.
Before this gets taken the wrong way, yes the PS3 had great exclusive titles come out this year, but that is more due to the developers of the games rather than Sony itself. As a PS3 owner i’m glad to see my console has gotten a lot more use this year than previously, but it doesn’t redeem Sony for the mismanagement that has surrounded the PS3 since launch. As far as i’m concerned the console war has been Sony’s race to win since the beginning, and a couple months of pulling themselves out of the bottom of the barrel in terms of sales in late 2009 doesn’t signal to me they are making any significant strides.
Newsflash, all PS3′s play PS1 discs. Way to misinform the masses saying the new PS3 slims don’t play PS1 games.
Let me rephrase then. What about the 2500 or so PS2 games? Since I assume most people would be upgrading from PS2 to PS3 for the holiday season, I didn’t think the PS1 games applied that much. I stand corrected however, so my gripe is with the PS3′s backwards incompatibility with PS2 games. This and the PSP Go’s inability to use UMDs purchased on the PSP I don’t like since you have to buy the same thing twice.
My battle cry goes out to activision because they deserve a naughty. This because of there legal issues, movie games and PS3 troubles. They stopped the DJ game scratch from coming out with court battles so it wouldn’t interfere with sells of DJ hero. They also tried to stop Brutal legend form coming out. The movie games sucked like Wolverine and Transformers. Well Wolverine was good on PS3 and xbox 360 it wasn’t good on psp wii and nintendo ds. Activison also tried to punish the consumer because of the high coast of PS3 by treating to stop producing games for the psp and ps3 if there wasn’t a price drop on the PS3. The psp didn’t do any thing and it’s library is already small why make it worse. Off hand name ten good psp games metal gear only counts once
That’s a fair statement to make but the topic was FFVIII being released on the PSN. As for no BC and inability to play PS2 games, honestly if it’s that important to someone, then save your money and keep your PS2 or buy a PS2 if you don’t have one or it doesn’t work anymore. Then when you’re ready to play PS3 games, you can probably pick one up for cheaper than you can now.
Enough with the hate towards PS3 for not playing PS2 games. It seems to me that people want a PS2 that plays PS3 games which doesn’t make sense.
As for the PSPGo, it was primarily aimed at bringing in more people to the platform so those people don’t already have UMDs that they need to rebuy in digital format. If you own a PSP with a big library, then buying a PSPGo is a buyer beware proposition. You knew what you were getting into so if you have to rebuy games, it’s your fault.
my EBC goes out to the mute button. with this button i can do so many things like mute a pervy little boy from trying to come on to me or mute kids who think there awesome because the can say SHIT or JIZZ NOSE over xbl. i just want to thank who ever invented this button.
I see your point there. I mean granted in the average person’s mind it doesn’t factor in that much, but it does show how Sony has mismanaged the system in response to the PS3 community. Until they make some serious moves to show the gamers are at the forefront of their development mindset I don’t think they will be able to match up to the 360 or Wii’s sales. I’m particularly interested to see the NPD numbers from Q1 2010 to see specifically how the PS3 is doing.
I’m gunna go ahead and give out an EBC to Firelogic as well, for the first actual discussion i’ve had on a forum that didn’t resort to name calling
Actually my battlecry goes out to you three because in my opinion EBC is the most entertaining podcast out there. You guys are funny, smart, and i’m glad that there is no cookie-cutter BS on here, the opinions are honest and I can tell that you all are very passionate about games. So Tony please keep having the smart-ass remarks, DK keep doing the puns (Fresh Prince of Persia was the best one), and Brent please come up with more insane openings to start the show. Merry Chrstmas and Happy New Year. PEACE WALKER
My EBC goes out to to Microsoft, a long overdue tip of the hat for including a headset right out of the box. Sony is still scratching their head and wondering why XBL is so much more successful while every time I go on a game like uncharted 2 or even smaller titles like fat princess with my mic ready to go, I always end up talking to myself… Hence the fact that I purchase any big multiplayer title (like mw 2) for the xbox. SONY, GIVE ME A REASON TO STOP PAYING FOR XBOX LIVE!!!!!!!
hey guys great episode like always. dk money shizzle keep da puns coming. my epic battlecry goes out to copys of populars games. i see that there are a lot of games looking to feed on the success of there presuccesors like the upcoming medal of honor compared to modern warfare 2 and dantes inferno compared to god of war ea sports mma to ufc. a lot of people have complaints about that but why are you bitching you only get the cods ufcs and god of wars once every couple yrs should you be happy to see similar games to get into it doesnt make much sense why all gamers dont embrace all these opportunities to enjoy games there no good reasons to be madd at game that good but similar to another idk thats just what im thinking they can just suck it to honest piece out guys
@BungieMoose0487

Let me destroy youre battle cry bye calling you a dumbass.
Why? Because If you Really think that any of the Big Fucking 3 care about you then youre a dipshit.(Yes sony touted that feature around but you know what? how much would you bet we’ll see ps2 titles on the psn in the future?)
” Until they make some serious moves to show the gamers are at the forefront of their development mindset I don’t think they will be able to match up to the 360 or Wii’s sales. I’m particularly interested to see the NPD numbers from Q1 2010 to see specifically how the PS3 is doing.”
You have a moronic npd mentality. the ps3 outsold the 360 worldwide so cut that shit out right now about the ps3 can’t match other console sales. So I guess you’re point about sony showing gamers they care is bullshit because NO ONE would be paying for a ps3 (Because they don’t show people they care) or a 360 (Because of the rrod) or a wii (Because the lack of hardcore games which is debatable like every other point you put upp in youre lame ass statement)
so since I came in with a insult might as well go out with one
I fucked youre mother mercilessly until she climaxed 15 times then she finally told you to stop eating cheetos in her basement and masterbating to low res images of lightning from ff13.
guess this post deserveres a cool story but i really don’t care next time thinb you fat bag of shit
have a great xmas assholes =]
My EPIC BATTLE CRY goes out to the rumored PSN subscription service. While it is not confirmed as of this EBC, it would seem like a big mistake on Sony’s part. It just seems like a big contradiction to their free online policy they have had so far. As if to say, yeah PSN is free, but great online services cost money. Truth be told, XBL only really works because you are screwed into it. You need to have XBL to get the most out of your games, and at $50 a year, your only fucked in the ass a little bit. If Sony starts charging for online play they piss off their user base, if they add a new service on top of it then nobody will have a big reason to pay for it.
by god i can’t believe i was actually able to fit that name into the username space….
anyways my 3p1c battle cry goes out to G4. And why you guys always bash them. You know i do understand what you guys say how they don’t cover a lot of video games and what not. Which is true to an extent. Their website is very nice. They have intelligent conversations on their podcasts about video games and Adam Sessler has some nice little skits about insight on it all and I think they should be shown a little more acknowledgment. Btw. if my battle cry is not on the next Epic Battle Cry podcast, I will bite every chin hair off and you’re gonna like it.
P.S.- Gotta admit. You guys have the best podcast out there. Love it. Now discuss.
My EBC goes out to Neill Blomkamp for two things: starting the trend of short, live action movies to promote games with his Halo: Landfall short movie. From that idea has come the Assassin’s Creed short movies, the Halo ODST shorts, and, although this is a stretch, the positive comments from his videos, combined with the continuously rising popularity of video games has influenced the rising number of video game movies. This means ones that aren’t directed by cinematic gremlins like Uwe Boll but by real directors. Bioshock, Dead Space, and Mass Effect are all in various stages of production with major film companies. Lastly, this shout goes out to Mr. Blomkamp for the DVD release of District 9, which is a new, awesome sci-fi idea and franchise.
It’s funny that people keep bitching about the ps3 not BC when everyone could’ve got one at launch….And Moose, the reason they’re talkin about Sony doing well at the end of this year is because it was a naughty or nice list, not a ‘who’s done the best ever all’ list. And saying u understand why Valve wouldn’t want to develop for them, then ‘it’s the developers that make Sony great’……huh? Other developers don’t have problems with how Sony treats them. Microsoft forces Valve to charge for DLC thats free on the PC, so I’d say they’re just as bad.
On the other hand your kinda right, in that Sony really didn’t do that much to get a ‘nice’ vote. I only bought a couple games this year, it’s next year I’m excited about, with MAG, Heavy Rain and GOW 3, so let’s compromise and give Sony a PSP GO for xmas instead of coal.
my battle cry goes to the few people that actually play video games for fun anymore. i say this because i can’t remember the last time i had a fun time with my buds playing a video game without the onslaught of annoying trash talking small minded people, or the small gang banger little kids, or the clans of idiots who think they are going pro, or the glitching and camping or any other douche little thing they do to achieve their little win. i swear to god i have a tumor now after experiencing the online of MW2, but hopefully they will all just get coal this christmas instead of more video games with online capabilities so the normal people can have fun again.
- good show as always guys and happy holidays
About the Heavy Rain thing it’s not that the game is unproven and no that one knows what the game is going to be like *cough* Indigo prophecy *cough* uhmm but they need to make a demo for the people who are on the Hype train for Heavy Rain and never played Indigo Prophecy. And I think the Ep. DLC should be Free, said it’s the Demo for crying out loud.
My EBC goes to the conflicting feeling I get telling parents about buying mature games for their kids. My brain says tell them the gritty details about that M rated title. But on the other hand, I think back when I was that kid asking for GTA3 or resident evil for Christmas. I’d hate to stifle a young person’s evolution through the gaming culture when I myself took advantage of my mom’s ignorance of gaming.
My EBC goes to the developers trying new IPs and actually putting an effort on getting a good quality game out with support and also to the gamers for supporting the new IPs such as Batman AA, Borderlands, Dragon Age. I think that by us supporting the new IPs shows them that we really appreciate new and innovative ideas and that we will support it if it’s a great game and not one of those generic shooters or the shovelware that we see at the stores.
My battle cry goes out to Dante’s Inferno. I don’t understand why so many people are hating on this game just because it is the same as God of War. The way I look at it, if you have a pair of blond twin babes who want to get down, are you going to tell one of them no because she is the same as the other? No. God of War is awesome. Dante’s Inferno is awesome. Why not have as much awesome as possible?
Hey, loved this fuckin episode… LOOOVED IIIIT!
Great great humor and I lolled alot ^^
Also looking forward to the new site… This one LOOKS good so I hope you don’t change that too much but I haven’t yet made much use of the forum because it doesn’t work very well (imo)
Hohoho, merry christmas!
My battle cry goes out to release dates
in your naughty and nice list you neglected to mention one thing that valve have disappointed on: episode 3
considering it is essentially DLC for half life 2 and they said they wanted to release one every year, it is a bit odd that they have released no media for it and have given no timeframe of release now that we are going into year 3 from the orange box release; and this strategy DOESN’T leave me excited and wanting, it leaves me frustated and cautious ever since DNF (which I waited the full 12 years for….), because I feel that my waiting and faith in the company will just be let down again
I want to send a really epic battle cry to all ‘fair play’ gamers out there, because sometimes it feels like their numbers are dwindling. There has been a lot of sweet multiplayer gaming lately, and in writing moment I have Modern Warfare 2 (pc) in mind. I love the multiplayer, but too often you end up in a game with cheaters/hackers, whatever you want to call them. And I can’t believe developers (not just IW) arent taking this more seriously. Wouldnt there be a market for a really great anti-cheat software? Would love to hear your thoughts on this matter, and to all of you who plays fair: Stand tall (even when you get raped by immature douchebags wallhacking).
what do you think of the rumor that Sony may soon start charging for PSN…is it fair to do so with people you bougth ps3 for its free psn?what do you think?

Guys STOPPPP complaining about valve and ps3 wtf?
seriously!!! Sony and Microsoft totally left out the games for us pc gamers. So we only have Valve left that does something for PC gamers. gow and halo arent any where near pc so why dont you ever say sony fucked up because didint release the gow for pc
VALVE continue to BOYCOTT the ps3 FUCK THEM what do they do for pc gamers absolutly nothing
LOVE VALVE

I have an EBC for James Cameron and Ubisoft (and also a nod to the Wackowski Bros). While they didnt make the best movie-game ever – Avatar, it was certainly passable, but more to the point I think they have set a good example of the way a tie-in SHOULD be moulded for it to make a succesful crossover. Too often what we see is “We made a movie, now heres the game” or vice versa. Cameron, like the Wackowskis did with matrix, decided to make the two in parallel and and add to the storyline instead or repeating it. Whats more he commisioned a well known succesful games developer rather than going in-house. What he was lacking was the insight that really, the movie didnt have the makings of a good game. How much can you really do with space marines and dense alien jungle? He probably got about as much as he could from the concept, but for a game, the concept wasnt that fresh or ground-breaking. I think the biggest issue in the cross-over industry is the ability to recognise what is and isnt good material for a crossover. But at least in terms of the WAY it should be done, its folks like Cameron and the Wackowskis that are setting a good example and the industry would do well to follow, refine and expand on their methodology.
Great work guys. Keep it up!
My battle cry goes out to 2010′s upcoming Alan Wake and Dark Void for being the only two new IPs (that I can think of) that are single player only.
In an age where just about every game has a number on the end, and also has to have a multiplayer tacked on no matter how crappy, I applaud Alan Wake and Dark Void for being brave enough to bring a truly new experience to the gamer on the sofa.
I have an EBC what do you think of the rumor that Sony may soon start charging for PSN…is it fair to do so with people you bougth ps3 for its free psn?what do you think?????
My EBC goes to the underrated good games out there, some people allways bash the games that received bad scores without actually playing them. For example “24 the game” was my favourite game last gen, i love the TV show but the game has everything, driving, shooting etc… and some sites gave it a 6/6.5, oh, and True crime NY city was a really good game that got me adicted for months, and still it had scores like 5/6, and still there are games really overrated like Assassins Creed 1 who got positive reviews on major gaming sites but people who actually played got disapointing, the game was good but not 8/9 good.
Thanks
Ok so we may see PS2 titles on the PSN eventually, but like I said you’re just paying for the same thing twice if you already own that title.
In terms of console sales I meant total sales. Even though the PS3 gained ground this year they didn’t gain that much and the 360 still sold well. PS3 sold more units due to a price drop in late 2009, and you can prove this by looking at the cross price elasticity of all three systems. Look it up. If a 360 RRODs you get a new one inside of 6 weeks without paying a single penny of your own money, meanwhile Sony had a few lawsuits on their hands this year because they tried to charge people to fix their PS3s. Yeah the ps3 outsold the 360 worldwide but not the whole year.
As for the rest of your post I guess it goes to prove that anger works when good arguments don’t, and you can have balls of steel as long as no one knows who you are.
My point is that they shouldn’t be on the nice list because they haven’t made any strides to improve the experience on the PS3 on their end. yes the developers made great games, but Sony hasn’t changed any of their policies (no microphone in box, etc). When valve stated why they don’t want to develop or the PS3 they said it’s because their community support wasn’t up to snuff. So I say give Sony’s presents to Naughty Dog and Insomniac, and I like the PSP for Sony idea.
You guys talked about the PSP and didn’t even mention that Valkyria chronicles 2 is comming out. its a sequal to 1 of the greatest PS3 games. Come on seriously, you need to play Valkyria Crhonicles one of the most awsome’st games evar. Get it for christmas and play it. Trust me. I beat it twice and theres still so many hours left to use playing it then tell everyone what you think on the next EBA. Thank you. By
Hey Guys,
Big fan of the podcast, first time battlecry.
My Battle Cry goes out to Rebellion studios’ new game Aliens VS Predator. They have just released a new Story trailer on you tube and this game is looking fantastic. This franchise has been shat on so much by Hollywood its good to see a company really take the fans into consideration and deliver. Of course I haven’t played it yet but from what I’ve seen so far it looks like what the films should have been and is worth a look go check it out.
Again great work on the podcast and have a marry Christmas.

i was gonna sound off, but naw i’ll just saw Merry christmas guys!!
And egg nog is nasty..
@Moose0487 & Firelogic First off, thank you for being civil to each other(especially Moose later on). PS3 BC is a very big deal no matter what anyone says. I still have a large PS1/PS2 library and I would have been pissed if I was forced to rebuy all my favorite titles digitally. People still have their old games and wish to play them and apparently people still want to play old games if they are buying them digitally. This is just Sony forcing people to rebuy games they already own instead of allowing the faithful to continue to enjoy their games. You could have had BC for those who already owned games and a digital version for those that missed out. Sony decided to screw over everyone by axing BC just to make more money by taking away the option. As for the PSP Go anyone that got screwed by the UMD incompatibility has a valid grievance. A UMD conversion program was announced and verified by Sony until less than a month of the Go’s release. The best way to describe this would be if you have a giant Ipod music library but Apple makes a new one that is incompatible with all the old Itune library. You have the new Ipod but can’t use all your old stuff you bought unless you rebuy everything or start fresh. It blows but corporate doesn’t care about anything but their new model and making more money. this is what Sony is doing for people not to get that is why we all are paying for people’s ignorance. Join us in the forum where we actually talk about this and many other things civilly.
@unrealgamer58 I think I can speak for a lot of the axeheads who have fought to keep not only the site but the forums the best around by saying we will not tolerate posters like you. You want to make a point do so but keep the childish moronic offensive bullshit off your posts. If you think it’s cool or funny it’s not it just makes you look stupid.
My Battle Cry for the year goes out to Supermans Doctor, TheEndIsNich, DrunkenPistolero, Schwick,TinyPenisSyndrome, liquid,UndreamedKnight, Athena, FGR_Huckleberry, MrHeavyPants, and all the other posters in the the forums. It has been a privilege conversing with all of you. The community we have created is small but is definitely the best that gaming has brought together, so thank you all for creating a welcome and thoughtful place for us all to share. Thanks also to Daniel, Brent,Tony, & Reuben for giving us the place to bitch and moan without the fanboys or douchebags.
My epic battle crty goes out to District 9.
My epic battle cry goes out to District 9
I was looking forward to this movie for a while, and glad that the first time I would get to see it would be on my ps3. I pop it in, finish watching your podcast, and low and behold the God of War III demo was on it. THAT IS SO FUCKING AWESOME… and an utter surprise =0
Comments:
I’ve always wondered about Snow Job’s name. Was that some kind of lude inside joke for the GI Joe makers?
Heavy Rain:
Agreed with Brent. I’m psyched about Heavy Rain, but if it turns out that I don’t like it, why the crap do I want to pay upfront costs for more of stuff I don’t like?
FF13:
The ESRB might do well to check whether or not those side-boobs and skimpy leotards are being worn by androgynous waify MALE characters or not. Lol
Oh Damn, Tony beat me to the punch!
GoW3:
Hey Brent, you play Dante’s Inferno yet? Did it blow your mind with its absurd level of ripoffness?
Activision – Naughty for f’ing over its PC fanbase that has supported COD for so long.
g4 – is fail a category?
gamestop – same… that place is a ludicrous ripoff and asinine all the way around. power to the players my ass.
Microsoft – Despite their long history of f-ups, I give them a Nice this year. Windows 7 works like a fucking charm. Although, it could be argued that this merely balances out their standing after the Vista debacle, and does not improve it.
Nintendo – dunno on them. Sometimes I like their stuff, sometimes I hate it, but usually I feel like they are just half-assing it lately. I might say Naughty just because of the pile of shit that is New Super Mario Bros Wii. You’re insane praising that game. It’s so incredibly shitty.
Sony – I’m gonna say nice just because I love streaming Netflix on my ps3, disc or not.
Valve – Nice for sure. Their holiday sales on steam are freaking awesome. They need to get off their ass and make HL2 Episode 3 already though. Continuous support of older games is great though.
bah screw russel crowe
Oh sweet, you guys read my Dante’s Inferno thread?
DK, gotta say, your puns were on point this week.
No BattleCry this week, just enjoying my vacation and trying to give good feedback on the new 2.5 site!
Have a great Holiday guys, any of you coming to Magfest?
what do you think of the rumor that Sony may soon start charging for PSN…is it fair to do so with people you bougth ps3 for its free psn?what do you think????? ??
First: Your show rocks.
Second:
My, first so far, EBC goes out to EA/Bioware and I hope DK gets as angry as I am and goes stampede all over them with Brent.
I may start my story at the beginning.
5.10.2009 BioWare Announces Mass Effect 2 Collectors’ Edition with:
“Available on January 26 in North America (Jan 29 in EU) alongside the standard edition, the Collectors’ Edition of Mass Effect 2 comes in a premium, tin case and includes the full version of the game, a 48-page hardcover “Art of Mass Effect 2” book, Issue 1 of the Mass Effect Redemption comic book, and a bonus DVD with behind-the-scenes and making-of videos.”
I think DK was as happy about that as the rest of the world, meaning north america and europe, because everyone worships tin cases. Especially for Mass Effect 2!!
But now an e-mail was posted in the official ME2 Forum from an administrator of gamestation (a UK retailer) which said:
“I can confirm that the European version of the Collector’s Edition of Mass Effect 2 doesn’t come with a tin case. “
There is no news so far but the thread, which was sticky for months, now isn’t anymore and some retailers erased “tin case” and the CE picture (as tin case) from the product details.
So I get up a day before Christmas and read this post and from one moment to another I feel ass raped and after an hour of crying I can’t even find a reason for it!!!!!!11111 The CE cost 70 USD at amazon.com which are 50€ or 44 British Pounds right now. THE CE COSTS 67€ ON amazon.de AND 55BP ON game.co.uk SO IT WILL COST A LOT MORE IN EUROPE AND LOOK A LOT WORSE.

My epic battlecry goes out to box arts. I think their importance is being completely underestimated by publishers. Because even today and even at the very high pricepoint which games are currently at there are still a lot of people who just go out into a store and buy a game that they think looks good, even though they’ve never heard of it before. I think this is probably one of the main reasons why Borderlands sells as well as it does. Awesome Box Art.
My Battle Cry goes out to all those developers that do beta tests. Modern warfare 2 has been practically unplayable for the last month with the Javelin Glitch the private match glitch the overpowered model 1887′s. Infinity Ward acted like the game was going to be perfect out of the gate so it wouldn’t need a beta test and the game literally fell apart. Dice is very smart to be doing the bad company 2 beta. I don’t see why Beta’s are not a good idea. You get to Iron out the glitches and cheats as well as gaining interest in your game. After I played the Bad Company 2 beta it will be a first day buy for me. Thats guys keep up the good work!
this is an easy one, I’m hoping that in 2010 we can finally find out the date when Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released. huffily we’ll see the war between the consoles stop. I don’t think we actually need a PS4 or an X-box 720. and maybe our tax dollars will be put to good use, like making a flying care so we don’t have to go to some German scientist who has to hack our foot off to get one. (Hope you all got the movie reference there)and finally I hope that in the near future, they actually put good characters in the soul calibur games instead of some of these lame ones like yoda and Dark Vader and an actual movie based of a video game that doesn’t suck! and make twilight actually good.
My epic battle cry goes out to Afrika for receiving a number of bad reviews and worst game of the year awards for being boring. An after hearing this reason, I have to say that this reason is bullsh*t. A few weeks ago on your podcast, you talk about how there is no perfect game due to people’s various interest. Well the same can be implied to the imperfect game because a game will usually find an audience. This game is a perfect example because the review score from Dengeki PlayStation range from 70 to 90, proving that some people enjoy the game more than other. I find a number of games such as Madden boring but I will not say that their terrible because there is an audience for these games. If a reviewer is going to say a game is horrible, it should be due to a technical or design flaw. Just saying that a game is boring is just lazy criticism. In conclusion, here hoping that the minority of photo simulation enthusiastic will enjoy Afrika despite criticism.
