For a game that’s all about kicking, I guess you can say FIFA 10 is kicking a lot of arse. The game has become the fastest selling sports game ever with 1.7 million copies sold through in European retail during its first week of availability. He shoots…HE SCORES!
“We were confident that FIFA 10 would be a hit, and this week fans across Europe have shown just how much they love this game,” said Peter Moore, President of EA SPORTS. “We are incredibly proud of FIFA 10 and this kick-off for great, authentic football competition.”
The game received perfect review scores from Eurogamer Italy and Total Video Games. Official Xbox Magazine Italy calls FIFA 10 “the best football game ever” while Official UK PlayStation Magazine hails it “the best football game on PS3”, and ConsolPlus Germany says it’s “the best football game the world has ever seen”.
Why don’t they tell us how they really feel?
Boding well for the game’s online experience is that fact that since launch, more than 10 million gaming sessions have been played online, with over 155,000 gamers playing online simultaneously during peak playing hours.
Providing the chance to pad its stats, FIFA 10 will be in stores throughout North America on October 20, 2009.
It really is that good! I don’t know if the none football (soccer) fans will understand but it’s an incredible game. In the same way I couldn’t judge a Madden game because I don’t follow American football. But trust me when I say that the sales figures match up to the gameplay experience
idk Carl, all that praise is great, but when you read between the lines you would realize that the big supermarket chains in the UK had heavy discounts on this game when it was released to assist in it being scooped that quickly. That being said, imma a football fan so im glad to see that game doing great, however, its PES all the way. Come on Konami!!!!
