The first screenshots for the upcoming racing title F1 2010 have appeared. The game is being made by Codemasters, who you might know from their previous racing games GRID and DiRT 2, both of which were very well received by critics and fans alike.
Releasing sometime this September, F1 2010 will feature all the official teams, drivers, and circuits from the upcoming F1 season in addition to the return of seven time world champion Michael Schumacher and the introduction of the new Korean International Circuit track.
Codemasters did release a version of this game last year on the Wii, PSP, and iPhone, but this go-around the game is being designed for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The newly HD version in this series is being built with the EGO engine, Codemasters’ proprietary engine that they used for both GRID and DiRT 2.
With a pedigree like that, could this be the Formula 1 game people have been waiting for? Check out the screens in the EBA Gallery!

Codemasters made a fundamental mistake with this Game, and that is its release Date ! The F1 season Starts this weekend in Bahrain and Finishes in November.
Now was the time to release this game when everyone is excited and intuistic, Not in September or later, there is a 100 day turn around between F1 seasons, Starting in March and finishing in November, nearly every year there are new Rules, Cars, Driver & Tracks.
This game will be out of date before its released, they will never catch up because development of a 2011 F1 Game will not be released untill december / January 2012 .
Codemasters have been sitting on the F1 licence for nearly 2 years, EA who had it previously always released it in some fassion as the season started or at least the first quarter of the F1 season.
Who wants a Game at the end of the year & by the following March we have new Tracks, Drivers & Cars rules etc.
This is the worst bit Games markerting ever….
I completely agree with the results of the survey – Sunday’s race was absolutely fanatastic. It had absolutely everything – a thrilling five-way battle for the win, changing strategies and tyre management issues, overtaking, crashes, controversy and a pantomine villian (no prizes for guessing who…).
