Cut the mids and crank the gain, its Force Feedback! This week, we drop some facts on our origins as friends, help out a conflicted petrolhead-gamer, and talk about some of the other things (besides the awesome games) that we’re looking forward to in 2012.

i think the reason the site works is because you do ‘mercilessly cleave through the fat of the gaming industry’, you guys seem to say the things that everyone’s thinking. It’s good to listen to your opinions and you have a dedicated community. The axe factor of your site is the back and forth between you and your listeners so keep it up axe lords!
Hear, Hear!
what about lorin, keith or rubin? how they get involved in the site?
THIS!!
I was created in a lab.
all is clear now…..
I KNEW it. I always knew it. You’re a T103, the “ultimate life-form”.
I completely agree with samjenko, you guys are great to your community that’s why it works. Most of the time when I’m listening I hear one of you guys bring something up in a discussion and I find myself thinking that exact thing. I know it was discussed a little during the show but the comments on this site are awesome, it’s just nice to see all positive comments for a change other sites if you were to scroll down to the comments all you would see is people arguing about the dumbest stuff. I just want to say thank you to the axe lords, we appreciate everything you guys do on the site. Keep up the good work in 2012
Yeah, sweet suprise finding this today! Expected this to morrow. This shit’s so Done Bear! Anywya i remember and cinda think that the old school games that i played when i was a kid and most notably the adventurer/rpg games back then had more content, story and qualety back then almost every modern game. And to some point i cinda miss that feeling thos games had and miss them. Back befor money and greed corupted the gaming industry. Sure the botom line with games is that thay have to make profit one way or another. One of the best games i have played is Lands of Lore: Guardians of Destiny. Realy fun and amazing adventurer/rpg fantasy game. And as a whole i enjo fantasy rpg’s the most because thay are games i can play more in my own pace without stresing my fucking ass of like in StarCraft type of games. I want to relax, have fun and just generaly have a good time. And as for mmo’s first mmo i played was Star Wars Galaxies which is a game that i enjoyed alot and had lots of fun in with peopel all around the world. And im curently lookin forward to PlanetSide 2. I played the first PlanetSide and enjoyed it but at the time only realy played SWG so i went back to SWG and ditched PlanetSide 2. But the sequal looks realy cool. Saw a faction trailer of that on GameTrailers.com and it looked cool. Im enjoying SWTOR alot atm, playin some Skyrim and Minecraft on the side. And i have to say that the story for the classes in SWTOR is realy good. There are quit a few things that i wish thay whould added like HD texturers and few other stuff. But im also lookin forward to all the posible routs the game might take down the feature. I mean what if an expansion comes out to SWTOR and do like Mass Effect or Dragon Age whare your choises affects how the story unfolds in the expansion story? That sounds realy cool and just story wise there are so many paths for BioWare to go down that im just enjoying the hell out of that game and want to play other classes as well and experience it all. Oh and i found an editor on Steam for Tourchlight and Red Orchestra 2 HOS. Thought that was prety cool. And i think thats it.
“And I called you Josh” should’ve been the subtitle of this episode xD
I don’t find the site really that much confusing, at least it’s not on my Chrome, but can’t there be a bigger link on the main site to this week’s Force Feedback submisson section? I also miss the button for submitting Member Battle Cries.
That was awesome! This has to be done so much more often!
I’m with Tony on hardware needing a boost. DK and Brent talking about better AI and better experiences is great and I agree, but better AI, does indeed require better hardware. It’s clearly time for a huge boost on the console side of things.
I’m really glad that DK wants to keep this side more independent. We have such a great and nice community that it would suck if this became so big that it lost its soul.
Why does it work so well? Because the people involved in creating and maintaining this site are really passionate about gaming and you can feel the honesty behind the love shown towards this hobby of ours. You don’t feel that at all in many other places or podcasts.
Thank you for everything!
Awesome Force Feedback Axelords!
DK do you think that ME3 is going to get more RPG mechanics in it than ME2? ‘Cause I hope so, ME1 was awesome with all the open areas and upgrades, new armors and omnitools and the like. ME2 had like nerfed all of those RPG mechanics.
The most thing that bothered me in ME2 was like it was built to have like levels, Getting The doctor and the “Angel” on Omega you got a mission finished screen like an action game and suddenly was back to the Normandy and had to “redock” again to Omega to continue to do the “Angel” Mission.
I do like ME2 though, but it was almost too Action 3rd person shooter than a RPG 3rd Action Shooter.
The Witcher 3 is one of my most anticipated games of 2012+. CDPR is doing a lot of things right. Good fan service. Free content. No DRM. No online passes. I approve.
I really like Force Feedback since it gives you our oppionons/questions to you Axelords and that you have your own oppionons/anwsers on ours. It gives this community so much respect and love for your time doing these podcasts and having this site up for us gamers!
The EBA site is Awesome guys. Too bad that Jess Conditt is no longer with us, but I’m happy that she is doing good!
Since you are not doing a daily slice why not do an Update weekly slice? To get some updates on some news you already have talked about and some new lighter news stuff that has not been talked about that might not be heavy EBC news, things like rumors or things that you want to get out that affects the EBA site like announcements or I don’t know whatever. It can be a supplement vidcast for the EBA site. Just a thought.
Alright Axelords and Axeheads my rantings is over! Cry havoc and let everyones voices be heared!
Done Bear!
Eurogamer in Germany had following in a preview on ME3:
“I had my worries when it comes to Mass Effect 3. The impressions from the first trailers made it almost look like a shooter. But then I was calmed down by a friendly man from Electronic Arts. He revealed that all the trailers are tailored to the U.S. market, which currently gears towards shooter above everything else. The majority of the game will be a true RPG, as were its two predecessors.”
Well, according to this, ME3 will at least not get dumbed down further. But I doubt that the RPG elements (the compelxity of customization) will increase compared to ME2. It’s tailered for the mass market. Also, appart from the planet surfaces, I did not find ME1 more open than ME2. And I think everybody agrees, that the planet exploration was the weakest point in ME1.
So no deeper RPG elements (the complexity of customization) like in ME1? They just keep it like ME2? And for the love of GOD add a helmet that can retract the faceprotection part like The Cyborg Ninja in MGS1 in conversations, it is the future and all or a friggin’ hide helmet function like in ME1 atleast.
Planet exploration was better in ME1 than scanning planets in ME2, more dynamic and physical. The downside was the size of the plantes and it’s lack of variety to the enviroments. That is how I feel. Do any of you feel anything like that?
RPGs should evolve but it should not become a shooter or fighting game with a little RPG mechanics.. It should have great dialouge, story, epic locations, Some form of Character/Outfit/weapon/Equipment comstumization that is satesfying. Then a developer can do it’s thing like 3rd person shooter mechanics or pure RPG or a mix-and-match that has those basic RPG components.
Done Bear!
I think the future isn’t in AI, I think interacting with other actual people is what humans need, I think AI can help us along that path, but I don’t want to interact with a robot, I want to interact with peoples.
http://www.ign.com/videos/2012/01/12/ces-wii-u-panorama-view-tech-demo
Wii U= Day One Purchase for me. I think the hardware is set enough that they have been taking these last few years making games and getting games.
Resistance will surely be forgotten.
Thanks for asking my questions. Sorry about forgetting uncharted. There are so many games and so many opinions out there.
I’d love for EBA to stay just the way it is. I really don’t understand why some want it to go mainstream and be just like every other gaming site on the net. I’m glad you don’t just regurgitate the same news with the same cynical and contrary responses in the name of traffic. So many gaming sites make their living off of others people’s hard work. All those sites lack a quality community. They are infested with Trolls and Fanboys. Immature and disrespectful behavior is the norm.
I like it here! I come here for the community and to hear the feedback from Tony, Daniel, Larin, and Brent. All men I can relate too, in one way or another. Do I agree with everything they say regarding particular games? No, but if I want 100% agreement I’ll just talk to myself. I want intelligent, constructive, and respectful conversation regarding Gaming. I don’t want to see people attacked or insulted because someone does not like their opinion. Such behavior is ridiculous.
I can get news anywhere. I come here to see what people think about that news. I also come here because people actually appear to Like and Enjoy video games. All the other sites have people who act jaded and cynical. Acting as if covering video games is a labor intensive job. Many exhibit that hipster mentality that I can not stomach. Whining about having to attend E3 and PAX is nothing something I care to listen too.
Perhaps it’s selfish and self-serving, but I want EBA to stay just the way it is.
Great show fellas!
I couldn’t have said it better myself that’s exactly why I come here, we don’t need EBA to be like everyone else.
you guys talking about those classic games and systems really took me back. i was very young then, but i remember playing on the Sega genesis, atari, and snes. However, the ps2 and devil may cry 3 is when i really got into gaming and never looked back. EBA is an Awesome! site.
This was epic. That is all.
Yo Brent, I indeed am an Aussie and do indeed have a badass upside down cross tattoo! And you read my fucking mind, was gonna bring up choplifter HD cause I’d seen the trailer about half an hour before listening to this! Looks awesome.
I agree with DK, I’m on Skyrim and I got 3 games for xmas, haven’t touched em til I’m over it.
I too would like to know how Keith SkinnyAsAnAxeHandle and Rubin Sweetwater Hotsauce Escobar Sanchez Moretz (I remember an extra name each time) came into the fold!
Now, a question for next week, are you guys getting Vitas? I have to, as there is an Uncharted game on it, so you know…day one purchase.
epic battle axe website is hands down the best gaming site ever. We have the best community, best podcasts, best discussions and best hosts. Sure, we all want more content but i rather wish that the site stays like this than it being diluted to something like GT or IGN. Your passion for gaming make this site unique, and I must thank you for that. DK, TG, Brent, Lorin and the axehead community, you guys are the best!!
I agree with all of the Axe Warriors before me: this is the best place for talking about gaming. And of course the best podcasts in the entire internet are gathered in this very domain of axelicious mightiness. I pity all those weak wankers who never dared to align their ears at the demon choir of hell, or as lesser human beings call it “podcast”, that is the unholy but divine trinity of EBC, Axe Factor and FORCE fuckin’ FEEDBACK!
Behold the dudest of dudes, the hairiest of beardos, the testosterones de la hombría: BRENT, TONY, LORIN, DANIEL, REUBEN, KEITH!
In short: I love this site, guys.
Thanks for sharing your origin stories. Much better than that Wolverine movie… Not quite as good as First Class, though. Michael Fassbender is just soooo badass.
The first game I can remember playing was Hunchback on the Amstrad CPC464. I used to go over to my cousin’s house and always enjoyed diving into his huge box of 464 game cassettes.
Sadly, said cousin was electrocuted whilst crossing some train tracks. That was a sad time… But the upswing was that HIS Amstrad became MY Amstrad. I remember my aunt giving it to me in a cathartic gesture of letting go. I was so happy!! I whooped and ran around the room, shouting with glee!!
I kinda wish I hadn’t done that now… But I really did love those old Star wars games, you know, the ones with the vector graphics. I’m going to hell for sure.
A couple of years later, I got the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NES bundle for christmas and was pretty much off into gaming heaven. I liked action, platform and fighting games mostly through the 8 & 16 bit era, but I went real hardcore about gaming in my late teens, during the 32bit Saturn days.
Shining Wisdom was the first RPG style title that I properly got into, and that shit really rocked my world! from there I went down Daniel’s route of ‘The Good Stuff’; Dragon Force, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Virtual Hydalyde, Dark Savior… All great niche games that I loved with a fierce passion.
Uh…
Maybe scratch Hydalyde from that list, actually. That game was utter SHIT!!
Anyways, you get the idea. Although I run a little more mainstream these days, I still find time to go off reservation and have a deep love for smaller, underrated games like the Yakuza franchise.
Oh… And anything with Sonic the Hedgehog in it.
Thanks for all of the great comments, gang! Oh, and thanks to those of you that are firmly on board with the “Done Bear” movement. It will soon exit hibernation and inhabit the hearts and minds of all forward thinking bear cubs with a taste for awesome.
Hopefully we’ll do another FF soon! I love answering your questions and having fun discussing all of the interesting topics you boys and girls bring up here on the site. Also, it’s really rewarding to know that you all appreciate the community here. That’s the whole point, and it’s super encouraging to know that our little site is more than just a site to many of you.
CHEERS!
DK
Rock on guys! The site always has me coming back for more epicness. Keep up the good work and I think I can speak for the EBA community when I say a massive thanks for the time and energy you guys put in!
All should know that this site will never, EVER be Done Bear.
Here comes the Done Bearbanhammer!!! *SMASH!!*
If the developpers choose to go for the artstyle rather than the number of polygones, a game can look great ON ANY PLAYFORM ! Games like Donkey Kong Country Returns, Red Steel 2, Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 or Epic Yarn look great thanks to the art style choice of the devs.
When I look at a game like Resident Evil Racoon City, ok it’s in HD, ok it has more polygones, better lighting effects and so on, but does it look better than the Nintendo games mentionned before ? Some games on SNES still look incredible today : Donkey Kong Country, Mr Nutz or Yoshi’s Island thanks to the artistic choice.
The Alpha Romeo Brera was named “best looking” car few years ago, it’s not a Ferrari or an Aston Martin, does that means it can’t look better ?
there is a fan here from Turkey.. cheers guys..
My first game I remember playing was something with a penguine on the CBS. I think the system was called Color Vision something in the US. I also played Pitstop on the CBS. Then I had several C64 (started even with a Datasette, no floppy disk drive). 286er, 386er, 486er, Pentium and so on until today. I had a Xbox and a watercooled xbox360 and own currently a PS3 and my PC gaming rig.
Fun Force Feedback Fellows XD I had great fun to listen again
lets wait till next year again. And a year filled with comments of… “where is Force Feedback?”
(yes i was one of them)
All right casual battle axe,
I am calling you out. the resion why your not improving your site is because you want it easy for people to view and easy for people to do things on like get the news out.. but in the end your making it casual your making it easy to get to but at the same time with a casual game comes a casual review… by my standers your site is “casual not epic..” you guys need a epic site its in your name DAMNIT!! EPIC BATTLE AXE! its not Casual battle axe waiting for to be 1 uped some day by another website like IGN, Giantbomb, gamestop, ect.. you pick your compation…. No you dont want us to have our word heard you want our word to be heard in the site so you dont get flashed with spam left to right..” thank you guys for doing this but really your saying your not going to improve your site becasue its easier for us bull.. your just to lazy to improve it or take the time out of your lifes to improve it or pay more money.. even though gog and all your fans support this site do you think for a second i and everyone will take that from you guys as a comment.. no.. i think you guys can do better and i know you can do better everyone knows this but if you keep being casual you better change your name and be more casual becaus really your not epic at all you have a great idea but it wont be heard like the rest of people on the web becasue your not willing to improve your site and put a little more time in to it..
Man.. if i hade a business like you guys i would look at it and say “god i need to improve this site its utter crap.. we dont get noticed as well or have as much advertisement because we dont want to make our site number 1 on the web we want to keep being number 10..”
anyways guy, I really love the shows and i love the way it is here but i dont love how you guys keep thinking you need to do things this way your just rolling over and taking it like the website you are casual and not willing to put more time in to it..
I really hope you improve in my near future because i want to hear one day.. Epic battle axe was the greatist website ever not what the hell is that?!? why does that not sound interesting why does that not ring the bell.. why doesnt that have a snap to it.. why cant we find this site anymore.. why is this site down for mannance why is it a my little pony website now..
really guys.. best of luck please take my advice and typos with a grain of salt you guys really do need to improve and get this thing on a roll i know you mean the best but really.. rolling over and taking it is so not like you guys..
@ronlocke21…Well I don’t know how you came to that conclusion… but I hope you do realize that they do this website on their spare time, they aren’t getting paid to do this like the people at ign, gamestop, etc… I wouldn’t call it lazy at all, if anything it’s the opposite of lazy because they are using their free time to do all this stuff with the site lol. I mean Tony, Brent, Daniel, Lorin, Keith, and Reuben( sry if I misspelled it) do an awesome job with everything on the site, I know I wouldn’t be able to do this kind of stuff in my spare time so the fact that they find the time to do this at all is amazing, especially since some of them have families to look after. I’m not trying to be rude but you should probably have all the information before you call them out for a stupid reason like that. I don’t think anyone wants EBA to turn into an ign or a kotaku, because to be perfectly honest there are enough sensationalized piece of crap websites like that out there. I come to EBA because of how refreshing the community is and because I obviously love everything these guys do, so I guess you could say I come here for the discussion and the witty banter between the guys on their respective pod-casts EBC, The Axe Factor, Force Feedback I think they’re all awesome. We have enough websites about gaming news, EBA doesn’t need to be like everyone else. So please don’t take offense but i had to say something because you are the first person i’ve ever seen on this site say they want it to become a giantbomb or an ign, which I personally think would be a terrible idea. You keep telling them to upgrade their site in your comment but what do you mean by that? care to share the specifics of your idea? you tell them to take your advice but you never actually told them anything lol. Daniel said on force feedback that they don’t want to take EBA in the direction of a gaming news website, they will still have some news on the site but they don’t want to just regurgitate gaming news off of other sites they want the community to be the focus of this site. Again I’m sry if that sounded harsh, I’m not trying to start a fight here… that’s the last thing I want, I’m just trying to get a handle on your point of view.
@epicbattleaxe #callyouout http://t.co/Yx9YfnMl about the website not getting a update.. really? #epicbattleaxe
@epicbattleaxe just listening the new episode. Glad my questions got picked
thank’s guys! And i guess u are right, i should join the site
Love me some force feedback.. just listening to you 3 answer questions an talk about your lives is great.. What I would like to do most of all is get to meet and hang out with you guys.. like a Epicbattleaxe meet-up for a convention.. obviously have to wait till this years birthday is over so i can legally drink, but would be cool to meet and play some games with you guys and the eba army.
I would really like to see alot more of force feedback actually, particularly seeing as you seem to want to have more communication with the community. Even though you didnt have time (or inclination) to read out my question I think Force Feedback should be another of the ‘flagship’ EBA shows (time permitting ofc).
Possibly the BEST Force Feedback ever. When you were talking about the mid-90s, I had this weird image in my mind with the bunch of you acting like in a 1930s black & white movie, all along with title cards, film dust etc. Then I thought of a Brent as the new Boris Karloff, Tony as the new Lugosi in 3D and Daniel as Charlie Chaplin. Epic (and disturbing)!
Also, don’t know if you were talking about my Dumb/Done Bear image that I posted, but I already knew of the Done Bear and still preferred the Dumb one. Dumb Bear can kick Done Bear’s ass anytime!
Done Bear sounds suspiciously like Dan Bear! Dan as in Daniel!!
:D:D
@ronlocke21
You don’t get it, do you? The staff of EBA are not paid. They entertain us for free… FOR FREE!
I love EBA, and I spend more commenting time on this site than any other… Period!
I don’t want to troll, or bring down the tone of the site, but to get in the faces of people who are giving you something so wonderful for nothing is… well…
No… I won’t stoop.
Instead I’ll leave you with one of Alec Baldwin’s classic Glengarry Glenn-Ross lines: “If you you don’t like it… Leeeeave.”
And one of Al Pacino’s from the same movie: “You stupid f…………”
question for the next Force Feedback…Mr. Brent Adams, being a racing fan do you have a racing wheel for any of your systems? As a fellow racing gamer (games like F1 2011, Forza 4, Dirt 3 and GT5) I can say with first hand experience that those types of games have more immersion using a racing wheel. Now that you have a gaming PC you may even be interested in playing PC specific sim racing games such as iRacing. If you do not have one please at least try one out and see how it feels. P.S. can’t wait for Formula One to come to Austin this year. Peace
Very insightful episode guys
My big gaming moment in life started with the 2600 as well. I remember my mom and aunt got one at a yard sale…except mine was broke. I remember barely getting to play over my aunts house and salivating over my turn playing games like Q-Bert, pitfall, and space invaders. The BIG ONE during that time for me was Miss Pacman. That woman still has a hold over me today. I have fond memories of the smell of the Laundromat and playing that game.
The real Zen moment came back in Christmas of 86 or 87 when i got my first system. It was an 8bit NES and came with the mario-dunkhunt combo. OMG we must have played that thing all day. My imagination took off as i played the very first game that had more then one screen. i would see posters of games i didn’t have and imagined how cool they would be like kid icaris, and blaster master. I also acquired games like dragon warrior(though i didn’t know what i was doing), TMNT, and mario3
The biggest moment in my console time was seeing the 16bit SNES for the first time.I remember seeing F-Zero and the blaze of cooler, and speed, and scale (via Mode 7) . And all my old friends where back for huge adventures with, huge leaps in graphics like super mario world, zelda a link to the past, super metroid, contra3, doney kong…the list just goes on, and on, and on. And new found love like secret of mana, chrono trigger, and starfox.
I guess from there the arcades of late 80s/90s kind of topped off my experience as a gamer. TMNT arcade games where out of this world for a kid like me, also xmen and D&D. The first time i saw Street fighter 2 in an arcade in the 90s i was floored. Just the intimidation, and amazement at flurry of kicks, punches, and fireballs. It was a long line, and big crowd, and it had to be worth it. Fighting games liek MK, and Soul Caliber came later to take over my free time.
After the fighting scene i guess things went down for me. I was never so sure about the murky 3d graphics that N64 and PS1 brought me. There where few exceptions like resident evil and final fantasy. Metal Gear would be the last game i got excited for like i was as a kid. And thats only because i played the original. And its pretty much my favorite playstation game. I only got to play up to snake eater since i couldn’t afford a PS3.
Today i play SF4, and mass effect and thats pretty much it. I get a game every once in a while like bayonetta…(luka http://bayonetta.wikia.com/wiki/Luka kind of reminds me of daniel kayser LOL) and darksiders.
Wow…that was a video game autobiography if i ever saw one LOL. But ya i guess Street Fighter was my first SERIOUS gaming thing.
Proud to be part of the AxeHead Army!
Cheers, Done Bear!
I’d like to see more AI capability on the next gen consoles as long as they’re not self aware as nobody likes a smart arse.
Awesome a new Force Feedback I love this show. Very interesting to hear your take on gaming in 2012. You guys rock(btw “Gaming” is spelled wrong)
Man, I’m with Brent on the new Soundgarden album only I’m really fucking optimistic. Black Rain pretty much sucked as a song but just hearing their signature sound and Cornell not trying to be Britney Spears anymore but actually singing tickled me in all the right places. If they release a mix of Thail riffing with his toes and Cornell screaming after sticking his dick in a socket, I’ll be all over that. Also, Black Sabbath is prepping an album!
I decided to waste some of my time creating a DK Done Bear. Check it out! http://bluefire4000.deviantart.com/art/DK-Done-Bear-279653906
Also I really enjoyed hearing about the group’s origin story and your discussion on your early gaming experiences. I also have fond memories of the Atari, which I’m surprised more people my age (25) haven’t played. Adventure, Yar’s Revenge, Fire Fighter, Donkey Kong, Pong, Space Invaders, Tank, Pacman. All fun games but Kaboom! was probably the game I enjoyed and played the most.
That’s literally a Dan(iel) Bear!
I know the G.O.G deal is not there, but you think there could be a SWEET ASS ………… ACTION!! of somthing else. Like i dunno a Viking hat or a Real Axe, or an Dumb Bare. Hope so. Get to see FF back an hope that it stays this time, coz its a great way for the community to get some on the air love.
What’s up my contributors of awesome, my descendants of purgatory?
How are thou?!
Since you are quite present in the internet- and gaming world, discussing ideas and overall being constructive and giving constructive criticism (and destructive if necessary), i wondered if you guys have participated in any “quality assurance” or any other “make-our-game-better”-initiative for a game developer or company directly?
If so, when was it and for what product or IP?
The ideas you guys have (including Lorin on The AxeF actor), the things you criticize are sometimes essentials, the final games are missing and could truely improve upon the overall experience of a game.
So, it made me wonder, have you tried to get your ideas directly to the source (meaning the developer)?
Keep doing what you do best. And thank you for doing what you do!
i am Done.
(P.S. Lorin – no name dropping here in the sense that i make my ego bigger in the ears of other people who will deny my existence when asked or anything like that. and i most certainly do not know the mayor of boston. just saying’ brah)
Really enjoyed this episode guys! Loved hearing about the EBA “origin story.”
Great question. If I may ask, what area do you all live in? Or at least what coast?
Tony – your comments on AI playing its “own game” — on a somewhat rudimentary level, this exists in the STALKER series. You should really check it out. They developed an AI Life system which more or less does what you said. Important NPC’s still sort of stand around in their designated areas waiting for you, but lesser ones will “live” in the world. It’s full of bugs, of course, but the ground work is there.
Totally missed forced feedback! Do it more guys!…. please?
I’d just like to say on the topic of the next gen consoles from microsoft and sony, I’d like to see further development into physics to create more immersive games. With games like red dead and battlefield already setting down foundations I think further development would make games so much more awesome! Imagine a next gen grand theft auto with fully realistic destructible environments, where literally anything could be destroyed in a realistic manor, and think of the gameplay possibilities that come with that! Along with a further developed euphoria engine, driving engine and using the LA noire facial capture technology! I’m getting excited just thinking about it! and obviously paired with what the guys talked about in the episode with better graphics and improved AI…
Also, I’d like to see no disappearing dead bodies in games! totally pulls you out of the experience… However games like Cod could get a little crowded…
Oh and lemme have a job at EBA
Hmm, there’s a question for the next FF:
When will the older podcasts be online again? Ever since the site changed to it’s current form, I wanted to re-listen some older Axe Factor episodes before 046 to hear your opinion on some games but I couldn’t. Any news on that?
Just noticed, EBC episodes 92-134 are missing too.
So nice to hear you guys reply to my feedback and even get the spelling correct (well, you do have that American accent, but what will you do? Just kidding! ;P).
Thanks for taking the points into consideration (although IIRC, Baal did that too in Lord of Destruction, and we all know how well that went). Peace. No, wait, ummm, oh yeah, Sharp Peace. Yeah, better.
Damn, so does it mean I have to re-draw my dumb bear?? That’s it! I’m done…bear! XD
My question for the next Force Feedback is this: Do you think Sony will make a Ps4 for the next gen of consoles? Seeing how they are in last place(in terms of sales) and have been forced to sell the ps3 and most likely the PsVita at a loss?
