Apocalypse PS3! PSN goes down:
The hardware of the PS3 (non-slim edition, aka fluffy edition) seemed to have been programmed to have a leap year this year which led to a a lot of PS3's to malfunction refusing to play the games. Luckily the problem fixed itself.

Blur public beta and release date:
Blur is going to get a Xbox 360 exclusive public beta coming somewhere next week! Along side that, the full game (also coming to the PS3) will have a release-date of May 25th and May 28th.

Delayed: Red dead Redemption:
The much awaited Red Dead Redemption coming on the PS3 and Xbox 360 will be delayed for three more weeks. The new release-date will be May 18th for the USA and May 21st for Europe.

FFXIII graphic problems on 360:
According to Digital Foundry, the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII has noticeably better graphics quality comparing to the Xbox 360. Both versions are fine, but there is a difference (in terms of graphics).

Valve is finally releasing Steam to the Mac platform! The guys discuss what the results of this will be. Judgement from the axe-lords is that this is good thing and it will propel the Mac platform.

Sony prepping a PSP phone?:
Sony might release two new platforms. One being a mobile device and one being a smart phone. The guys discuss what will come out of this rumour. The cleaving of the fat resulted to a "sigh, another PSP" however it has potential to be a good combination of gaming with a phone.

Activision has fired two studioheads from Infinity Ward. Those two people are Jason West and Vince Zampella. Swift judgement from axe-lords resulted that this is a drama attention but feels it's a stupid move. There are also too many rumours going on.
