I came across this little tidbit on Kotaku today and I thought of you. Eric Wall, from Games Are Evil, created a chart that chronicles the rise and fall of the multitudes of game studios that have been born, thrived, and faded away over the last thirty years.

The chart’s creator freely admits that it is not a comprehensive diagram, but it is a damn good start and it is very interesting to look at. Head on over to Kotaku, study the genealogy, and then let us know what you think below!!!
