Hi,
I would like to know what type of gaming keyboards you are using. I want to buy a new one for my gaming PC. Wireless would be nice, but cable is also ok.
Any experience with super dedicated gaming devices like Cyborg V7 keyboard?
All hail the Axelords

I am going to assume around €70-€120 more or less as a budget since that more or less the range of a decent quality gaming keyboard.
Logitech G510 Link:
the pricing varies a lot on this one, the logitch site says 125 € but i have seen it in stores for 99€,
so if you find a good deal on it it's worth it.
-it has a multi function backlit screen with a bunch of game-specific apps for around 200+ games
-18 programable G-Keys that you can set as a specific function in any game or program, as well as multimedia keys and your choice of color for the keyboard back lighting.
also the G110 is basically the same keyboard as the G510, but with 12 G-Keys and no screen, listed at 82€ but im sure you can get it cheaper if you look around online.
as you said the Cyborg V7 is a pretty good keyboard which you can get anywhere from 50-90€, cyborg makes really nice gear, i have a cyborg rat7 mouse and it really kicks ass.
i'd recommend any of those 3 keyboards i mentioned, though really any logitech gear is high quality, and from my experience cyborg stuff is great too. so basically go for best price, then best looks (its gotta look slick to go along with dat badass gaming rig! ;) )
Permalink Reply by Zaknaberrnon on February 4, 2013 at 1:08pm also worth mentioning; if you have the cash to really go all out on a badass keyboard,
maybe the Cyborg S.T.R.I.K.E. 5 or S.T.R.I.K.E. 7
they're damn expensive but boy are they awesome! xD
Permalink Reply by Hokum on February 4, 2013 at 1:31pm I use a Filco with MX Cherry Brown switches. I am never going back to basic rubber dome keyboards ever again. Mechanical switches feel so much better, so I'd at least recommend you try one. There are loads of switch types too, black, red, brown, blue, clear, so odds are you will find one you like. They are on the expensive side though, but the build quality is good and they will last forever. My Filco is just a tad under 1 kg and built like a tank.
Permalink Reply by Equinoxe on February 4, 2013 at 2:22pm I use the Microsoft Sidewinder X4. I do not use the programmable hot keys at all, but the lit keys are invaluable. And I like the haptics when typing. It also was "only" 40 Euro.
Permalink Reply by Fredrik Pedersen on February 4, 2013 at 2:59pm I have the Logitech G105 MW3 edition. I'm pretty pleased with it, but I had to scratch the dumb MW3 logo off :D

Permalink Reply by Fabian Winkler on February 4, 2013 at 4:39pm I read that Logitech is leaving the gaming peripheral business. So maybe another brand is the right thing. Who knows who buys that business from Logitech.
Permalink Reply by Sigmund Rumpf on February 4, 2013 at 8:27pm i got the brand new logitech g710+ mechanical gamming keyboard and the best i've ever owned and used. I had borrowed my friends razor black widow and I think the logitech is much better has white led back lit and you can set the intensity or just have wasd lit up plus it has a usb for a joystick or thumb drive built in aswell as media buttons (pause, play etc) and a roller for the volume control with a mute button plus programmible buttons also for being mechanical its actually quit if you dont like the clicky sounds of them but its rated for 50million button presses and if you need to clean it you can run it in the dish washer let dry for a week and its good as new (yes i have done it myself and with many other keyboards and mouses). it was also maximum pc's keyboard pic.
Permalink Reply by Mincho Hristov Ivanov on February 12, 2013 at 3:23pm I personaly dont see the need for a gaming keyboard unless you plan to game profecionaly...if you whanna play games for fun this is like throwing money to the wind... all you need is a generic keyboard/mouse wired(wireless can be a real pain especialy if you play multiplayer games),friction ducktape and a marker with thin point and the opposite color of the friction ducktape :D

As I am typing this, we're deep inside the annual summer gaming drought of 2013. The last interesting current gen game I played was Bioshock Infinite. I'm now waiting patiently for The Last of Us to drop through the mail slot. In the interim, I have amused myself by going back and playing a whole bunch of the old Metroid titles. And I've had an absolute blast doing so. It's been one of the most nostalgic and satisfying gaming periods of my entire life. I replayed and finished all five of the…
After some discussion with the axeheads I asked myself what I want out of the next generation of gaming. And my answer is suprising. |It is neither better grafics or better AI. It does not even have to do with hardware.
What I want from the next generation the most is the introduction of used game sales for digital games. As soon as one of the major platforms does that I will go all digital, never looking back.
So, what would you like to see?
This bold statement was made by Nintendo and features on the Polygon site.

Personly i do, considering that most of the games made today and which are gonna be made for the Next-Generation of konsoles will be like before.

Step one: its EpicBattleCry! E3 2013 has played host to exciting game news, dramatic moments, and, some would claim, out-and-out homicide. From EA dropping the AT-AT foot to Jack Tretton dropping the mic, this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo will certainly go down as one of the most memorable. With DK still on full-time looking-good-in-LA duty, Brent and Tony sat down to discuss Nintendo's showing at this year's show, the fallout (good and bad) from Sony and…
Well GT6 already has a lot of goodies announced:
-new physics engine
-new tire model
-new suspension model
-new aerodynamics model
-adaptive tesselation (whatever that may do, i guess better frame rates with more detailed models)
-new rendering engine
Then there's obviously new tracks/locations and new cars.
I want to know what you would like to see in addition to those features already mentioned. And which cars/tracks in…
