I was going to do something, then I had to put $400 into my Bronco.....so.... instead of launch day I'll be launch "window." *sadness*

When I get it I'll probably buy lots of pizza and alcohol and just have an all nighter with my roommates.

Games I'm going for first: BF4, CoD:Ghosts, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct (just going to buy everything for KI upfront)

Really want to buy a new TV for it too. My Philips 42" is seven years old now.

What's xbox one? Is it 2001 again...?!? I kid, I kid. The xbox is actually coming out first in Aus, so I'll be able to check it out a week before I get my PS4. Gotta find a mate who's getting one so I can play Dead Rising 3.

I am VERY Much looking forward to getting an XboxOne, primarily for DeadRising 3 at launch and Killer Instinct. Far as anything special for launch? Hadn't given it much thought. I ordered mine from Amazon and I'm confident I'll get it first thing in the morning (so no booze.) I'll likely just get down on those games for the weekend :) good times good times.
I'll be working the night shift on launch night. I have Forza5 preordered, but Dead Rising 3 and even Ryse may be day one purchases as well.

Never thought I'd say this, but I am really excited about Xbox One and all its new features.

I have had both systems this gen, with the PS3 being my primary go-to console - playing the 360 for some exclusives.

Since WatchDogs and DriveClub have been delayed I am even more excited about the launch lineup for the Xbox.

Living in Germany I had to order Dead Rising 3 in the UK - our

government, as some of you might now, likes to parent us regarding games including extreme violoence, so it will be but on the index and not be relased here officially - at least I am eligible to import it ^^

It will hopefully arrive by mid next week -  that's the game I am most looking forward to checking out.

Picking up my console on Friday 22nd at a local retailer together with Forza 5 and Ryse-Son of Rome.

I love to play racing sim games and picked up a steering wheel / pedals to finish GT5 before the new iteration - so I am really disappointed to see the price tag on the new XBOX One racing wheels.

Why can't they just support the 360 wheels - like PS4 will support the PS3 wheels??

Playing Forza 5 with the controller is such a waste (also in lap times ;-P  )

The Axe Factor Poll!

What do YOU think the game industry should do to address social injustice?
Nothing, everyone should make the games they want to and include whatever they like0%
Provide players a choice with regard to gender/ethnicity/sexuality0%
At every stage of the process, simply ask "Are we being exclusionary?"0%
Other (Post a comment on TAF 156)0%
Not much needs to happen beyond raising awareness, people will make better choices once they understand why its important0%
Accurate information needs to be injected so publishers understand that being inclusionary doesn't equate financial loss0%

A response to yet ANOTHER racist rant against White Male Gamers.

Sorry All: No EBC This Week :[

Hey all, sad news I'm afraid. DK's computer suffered a serious hiccup and is off being nursed back to health. Unfortunately, we're not going to be able to record EpicBattleCry this week. Hopefully, things will be back to the routine next week. See you then!

Gamer or QA tester? Early Access (long)

On the 16th of May 2007 the Halo 3 public Multiplayer Beta saw release for members of Microsoft's Xbox Live Subscription service. It contained 3 maps, a handful of game modes to play as well as a selection of the new weapons added in the sequel. Ostensibly the build was disseminated to test the matchmaking system, network loads and game balance but the use of an outdated iteration or 'Build', the heavy marketing and it's bundling with another…
