Um, is there anyone who’s interested in Halo out there? Anyone at all? Well I can’t hear anything, but if there is anyone interested in this little-known franchise, we have some news for you. Microsoft has announced the special editions for their upcoming game Halo: Reach. Have you heard of it?
The special editions come in two formats: Good and Better. I mean, Limited Edition and Legendary Edition. According to the press release, the editions will contain the following:
Halo: Reach – Limited Edition
In addition to the game disc and manual, the Limited edition includes:
• Game disc housed in recovered ONI ”black box”
• An exclusive Elite armour set for use in multiplayer modes
• Artifact bag containing Dr. Halsey’s personal journal and other classified documents and effects that unravel long held secrets from the “Halo” universe
Halo: Reach – Legendary Edition
The complete “Halo: Reach” collection. In addition to the game disc, manual, and the complete contents of the Limited edition, the Legendary edition includes:
• Noble Team statue expertly crafted by the artisans at McFarlane Toys. Individually molded, hand-painted and individually numbered, this statue is a must-have for any serious “Halo” fan
• UNSC-themed custom packaging
• An exclusive multiplayer Spartan armour effect
The Limited Edition will cost $79.99 US and the Legendary Edition will go for $149.99 US. Also don’t forget, if you hung on to your copy of Halo 3: ODST, the Halo: Reach Multiplayer Beta begins on May 3rd!
