In their 3rd Quarter Financial Results, Take-Two Interactive officially announced that L.A. Noire has been delayed until the first half of 2011.
While the delay comes as no surprise, given the game’s absence from the major game shows this year as well as the rumors of the delay from a couple of weeks ago, it is still a bit of a bummer. The game looks quite interesting and now it will add to the glut of high quality games coming in the first half of 2011.
L.A. Noire is a detective story set in the 1940′s and when the game does finally come out, it will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Big surprise. I doubt this game will ever come out and be a good game.
wow big surprise……………..-__-
2k games? lol they don’t have anything to do with this game, get your facts straight, dude.
Vaporware in the making! I kid L.A. Noire however, I look forward to it, although this latest delay, while not completely unforeseen, it still is slightly disappointing that they didn’t just come out and say so.
D’oh! Thx for the heads up Dividian!! Problem corrected.
I thought sony signed an exlusive deal on this. if not, bring it to the pc as well bitches, I love the noir setting gosh darn it.
I had and still have high hopes for this game – with only a few media helping my hopeful meter. I really like the setting and atmosphere that so far surrounds this game. I was hoping Mafia II would have helped my lust for the “Old Times” sort of setting but that game fell short, very disappointed. I really hope the delay is good news.
