The team behind such titles as “Ico” and “Shadow of the Colossus” have set the bar extremely high for themselves. Thankfully it seems like they are up to the task. In the trailer for The Last Guardian we see an amazingly beautiful world and get a feel for the deep characters and heart-felt story. We still do not have a release date on this PlayStation exclusive title but suffice to say it cannot come quick enough.

I’m so glad you guys have talked about this game, and even more so that you’ve cleared that rumor of perhaps the worst name for a game series that is just too good to be described.
Okay, okay so it’s not actually a series but the fact that Team ICO have not only captured me, but literally blew me away with their last 2 outings then you can understand that I am completely serious when I say that I WILL buy a PS3 for this game. Anything else will be secondary, I mean all the games I know are or will be awesome (Uncharted 2, Killzone 2) Frak em, this is all I care about and this is why i’ll be sporting a new brick to me entertainment space.
I’m not even going to talk about what I expect of the game, in my mind they will do no wrong. Last Guardian…. that sounds so much more kick ass than Trico. Now which retarded marketeer came up with that one?
it was called project trico because the first game was ico, the second was originally called NICO before it got dubbed SOTC, and this one was TRICO…see the pattern?
