While it’s been in the works for a while, fans of Valkyria Chronicles on the PS3 will soon get their hands on the fourth bit of DLC for the game when it is released this Thursday, February 25, via PSN. Titled “The Challenges of the Edy Detachment”, the content delivers six new maps to play through, with each map designed for the different soldier classes within Edy’s team. Whether you’re a Scout, Lancer or Shocktrooper, you’ll be able to use the skills of each class to fight your way through the DLC’s various battles.

Wicked! All SEGA have to do now is stop being jerks and release a whole new game on the PS3, or make their VC2 PSP playable on the PS3.
Speaking of which, I’m now making a Battle Cry out to emulation. The PS3 has been out for what, 3 years? Why has Sony not yet released a PSP emulator for the PS3? I would easily pay $100 for the ability to play downloaded PSP games on my PS3. I’m never going to buy a PSP, so not having this option means I will never buy a PSP game. Wouldn’t it make sense to every party involved (Sony, game developers, consumers) to have this option?
