Sackboy’s triumphant return in LittleBigPlanet 2 isn’t all physics fun and games.
The latest gameplay trailer from the PlayStation Blog features an amped up storyline complete with the Negativitron, a “mysterious and terrible evil” bent on destroying Craft World, pitted against the Alliance, whose sole mission is to save the planet. With Sackboy’s help, of course.
The trailer shows off a few new gadgets, like a grappling hook, bounce pads, the creatinator, and power gloves. The game also allows direct control of at least one flying, feathered friend, four helpful characters in the Alliance, and AI Sackbots that look too cute to turn off.
According to the trailer, LittleBigPlanet 2 will feature 50 Levels and a “cosmic sized adventure” complete with space travel.

This game is out a few days after Black Ops release. I shall have to find another job to pay for everything coming out in November now lol

That looks great. I’m glad they’re putting more emphasis on the world and characters and not just making it a Gmod type game. Although it’s great they have the editor, I only wish it was on the PC so people with skill and knowledge could get their hands on it. It’s kinda like releasing Half-Life 1 on the PS1 and expecting people to make CS, DOD, natural selection, etc. It’s just not gonna happen.
hey D, you can use a mouse and KB on LPB2 by all accounts. that said i still think your comment about people with skill n knowledge is pretty stupid. there are some excellent user generated lvls on LBP and a couple of million in all so something’s working right.

Since the DLC from the first will transition to the second, does anyone know if you would be now able to use tools from DLC that you didn’t buy in the first one?
