A post on the official Mass Effect 2 website delivers word of the new Hammerhead assault vehicle coming our way via the new “Firewalker” DLC pack coming to the Cerberus Network in late March.
Here’s how the post describes the new content:
Free to all Cerberus Network members, the Firewalker pack includes 5 all new missions featuring the Hammerhead. Hovering over the battlefield at up to 120 kilometeres per hour, the Hammerhead also boasts a guided missile system ensuring accuracy even during aggressive maneuvering.
Nice! In addition, BioWare stated that ME fans can look forward to a new heavy weapon available to all Cerberus Network members “very soon”, although there were no details given about exactly what or when we’ll see it. Guess we’ll just have to stay tuned…

And best of all, it’s absolutely free. =)
Bioware has to stop giving me reasons to play this game, which I already play way too much. It’s even harder when those reasons are free of charge.
It makes me wonder how expansive the content they’re actually going to charge us for is going to be…
Why on earth would you keep playing it?
Playing through with all of the different character classes, trying to see all the different character interactions and story permutations based on my actions, trying master the Insanity difficulty… There’s lots of reasons to replay ME2. More content means more reasons to revisit it.
I take it you didn’t like the game? That’s cool, but just because you didn’t like it, or see the need to replay it, doesn’t mean others don’t love the hell out of it or have no good reason to.

Wow have to respect bioware for free DLC, such a rarity in this day and age.
Since it’s free, they are either surprisingly generous or they just didn’t fix the shitty steering from the first game.
Another one for free? I didn’t expect such thing from EA. Well done, indeed.
I’ve missed the Mako, so it’s glad to see his spiritual successor the Hammerhead
A very good post and certainly these are points really useful.
