New MotoGP Officially Named

Here’s a question; what do you do when you want to release a game tied to a particular sporting season, but want to include content from the new season ahead? Well, if you’re Capcom, you name the game after BOTH seasons…GENIUS!

That’s exactly the case with MotoGP 09/10, which will not only deliver all the bikes, riders and tracks from the 2009 championship, but brand new gameplay modes that offer rewards to the rider for their riding style (not just winning races), plus the ability to update the game with accurate content from the 2010 championship, as the season unfolds, at no extra cost. Confused? Don’t be…

“Historically MotoGP videogames have been released toward the end of the GP season, but with this latest addition to the series we wanted MotoGP and racing fans to have the most up to date content as soon as possible” commented Michael Pattison, Capcom’s Senior European Marketing Director. “Never before will gamers have been able to play with current season content so early in the real world GP season.”

MotoGP 09/10 will feature in-depth career, arcade, online, and even a spectator mode when it races onto the 360 and PS3 early next year.
