FYI, LucasArts and BioWare have released a new vid related to Star Wars: The Old Republic which explores the game’s timeline while focusing on the history of the Mandalorians. If you’ve been tracking these, you’ll probably wanna check it out, which you can do after the jump.
I like media like this that gets you hyped for the game before it is released. Backstories and information into the world are a great way to get more players enticed. Also a good way in this case to gauge the reaction of the die hard star wars fans. I’m sure they’ll let you know if they thought you weren’t doing things right to their standards

I think this is a great way to setup story and content as the game develops – There is a lot of history to catch up with, so their timeline creation (even the static areas of the timeline on http://www.swtor.com) are extremely well thought it… Star Wars is my Cow Bell, and I want more of it……
