With Zune HD video coming to the Xbox 360 it was inevitable that the wireless capabilities of the Xbox 360 would need a serious kick in the pants. Microsoft is apparently aware of this, which is why it has developed a new wireless adapter for the Xbox 360.
The new adapter will support 802.11n wifi instead of 802.11b/g, thus making the new adapter twice as fast as its predecessor. This will allow the 360 to stream those upcoming HD videos with ease as well as a better online gaming experience as long as you have an 802.11n network set up at home.
Want to know the price? Of course you do! Well Product Reviews Net has confirmed that this new adapter will inherit the current price of the original adapter of $100. The original adapter, of course, will drop in price when the new one gets released.
Think you can use Zune HD video with your old adapter and by pass this expense? Think again as the new HD video stream will require an 802.11n network. So yes, viewing Zune HD videos will basically cost you $100 if you don’t have a long enough Ethernet cable to use…

Fucking cunts – the only term that can be used.
$100 bucks for this? What are they, fucking retarded?
well, they had to make their money back from their recent price drop on the elite 360, what else could they do. At least you can buy the b/g adapter for less when this bad boy goes on sale.
it may be true that u can get the the original for cheaper now and they have to make there money afer a price cut but the price cut was only a marketing response to the ps3 price drop so its hardly an excusse for putting a pricetag like that on it
while it’s nice the new Zunes have HD, I don’t think it will sell much better than any other Zune which isn’t a lot. not buying a zune and not buying a wireless adapter.
