A post on the official Gearbox community blog officially reveals the next bit of DLC for the rather popular Borderlands. Titled “The Secret Armory of General Knoxx”, the content is being billed as “the largest DLC for Borderlands to date”, and will be coming to the 360, PS3, and PC although we’ve got no official word on a release date just yet.
The description of the content pitches the ability to “face off with brutal, never-before-seen enemies in a huge new environment complete with tons of brand new missions” while gaining access to entirely new weapons and items. Sweet. The content also allows for character growth to level 50 while offering “hours” of additional playtime for those who love both shooting and looting.
Of course, we’ll keep you posted on more details as they emerge. So, any Borderlands fans in the house?

I rented the game when it came out and pretty sure the level cap was 50. Maybe you meant to put 60? But anyways, I kind of want to buy this now even though I rented it and beat it when it came out. I didn’t expect so much support for the game what is this the third piece of DLC they released? Great example of how DLC should be handled.
Wow! Awesome news!!! Thanks!
I’m a huge fan of Borderlands, mainly because I actually completed it WITH my wife (and she enjoyed it)! She plays as Lilith and I as Roland. We just finished the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned and now news of this! Really happy..
LittleBigPlanet and Castle Crashers are the only other 2 we’ve completed together I think. Oh and obviously the usual partygames: Lips, SingStar, Buzz, SceneIt etc..
