Activision announced recently that the second map pack for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is headed to Xbox LIVE on June 3rd. The Resurgence Pack will contain five maps – three new ones and two remakes from Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The two remade maps are Vacant and Strike. The three new maps are Carnival, Trailer Park, and Fuel.
Carnival is a daytime map set in a deserted amusement park, which is very open and rife with sniper spots. Trailer Park is more maze-like, with tight corridors and obvious choke points. And Fuel is set in an oil refinery and has two distinct sections that feature both an open sniper area and a close-quarter area.
No word yet on when this will release on the PC or PS3, but when it comes out on the Xbox on June 3rd the Resurgence Pack will cost 1200 Microsoft Points ($14.99). So what do ya’ think? Will it be worth the price of admission? Was the first map pack worth fifteen bucks? Sound off below!

I’m not happy with the price point at all, but i do still play MW2 every night. I feel like I have no choice than to pick it up.
In a way, I’m excited for the new map pack, but I don’t know. I may be too busy playing Red Dead Redemption. Hoss360Quote
Im gonna buy modern warfare 2 when its below 40 euro and im gonna buy those packs… wait, im not gonna buy them.
Im not supporting this blasphemy BobafetQuote
No way in hell am I going to be dupped again. I’m totally done with Call of Duty. LaughingMan9Quote
Activision’s greed at this point is disgusting. It’s been what, 3 months, if that, since the last 15 DOLLAR map pack? That means, in less than a year, you would have to have spent 90 dollars on one game, more if you bought a limited edition. And out of those 10 maps, only 6 are new. Unfortunately, a lot of people are still going to buy the new pack when it comes out and Activision will continue to fleece its customers. BrotherFluffyQuote
really…vacant…that map is terrible there are so many better maps they could “remake”… Amp21Quote
bleh, more milking! ahaha Really sucks.. by the time you buy all the dlc’s for this title it will probably add up to be more than the game itself XD. Battlefield Bad Company 2 FTW! more variety, more fun & less 14yr old idiots. MrganjQuote
360 users help buy with the last map pack a private jet to Bobby “Hitler” Kotick.
This time around 2.5 Million morons (apology in advance) on the 360 will help Bobby K. buy the whole fu@k&ng Bermuda triangle, and then rise up a hidden fortress deep from the center of the ocean and then cause havoc and take over the world….. stay tuned

So people will end up paying half the price of the full retail game for 6 new maps. This is wrong in so many ways. No sense arguing about it or trying to explain to people why they should not purchase this garbage. Over 2million people will do it regardless. 2million+ noobs!! HaVoK308Quote
I bought the first map pack and it was good, but i felt stolen because it’s not worth 15, seriously. Even i’d like to have the new maps, there’s no way i would spent 15 on something worth the half OmarQuote
It’s just not worth it. I just got done playing 5 hours of Battlefield Bad Company 2 and I’ve just barely scratched the surface of it’s content. The only mode I’ve been playing so far is Rush and I love it! I still have 3 other modes (soon to be 4) to play with. Every once in a while I’ll do really good on MW2 but then I could get a shitty game, rage quit, and almost break my tv because I’m so pissed off. So spending 30 dollars for those 10 maps isn’t gonna be worth it in the long run when I’m getting hours of fun for the orginal price of $60 with BF BC 2. Mutha Fuckas =) tylertkdQuote
I’m going to wait until they release a “Map Pack Bundle” after they decide they’ve produced enough map packs. They did the same thing with COD5 : World At War, the bundle cost me 2000ms points and individually bought they would’ve cost 3600. Be patient guys. MasterLeeQuote
