Sony today announced that the original Killzone will release on the PlayStation Network on January 24 for $9.99. This is a straight port of the PlayStation 2 shooter, though, so don’t walk in expecting the same graphical prowess as the more recent iterations.
At long last, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 3D will release on the Nintendo 3DS on February 21 in the US, and March 8 in Europe. In addition to the new 3D enhancements, this re-release brings Circle Pad Pro compatibility and the ability to make new camouflage suites based off a picture you took with the 3DS’ camera. Movies are great, and movies on the go are even better. Well, this year’s CES brings good news to potential PlayStation Vita owners who happen to enjoy the occasional motion-picture.
Sony’s Kaz Hirai just announced at their CES keynote that Music Unlimited, Sony’s cloud-based music service, will be available on the PlayStation Vita on day-one. Hirai also confirmed the existence of PlayMemories Studio, a program that will allow users to manipulate photos and videos directly through the PlayStation 3.

Straight from this year’s CES, Sony announced the pricing for AT&T’s data rates for the PlayStation Vita handheld. Those who have smartphones will be used to these rates.
