So it looks like in the relatively near future we may have to change the recording/release schedule of the show for scheduling reasons. So I was curious:Does it matter to you guys what day the show…Continue

Yeah....that's right. Only this time it ain't me!!
Sorry to say it folks.....but all the forces of Valhalla could not stop the plague from descending upon the almighty Viking Brent. His delicate and angelic pipes could not perform for you on this day. But rest assured.....he will…

Hi All! I am very sorry to bring you the news that the Live 100th Episode of The Axe Factor has been postponed.
No, this is not some lame attempt by Brent and I to make a statement about last minute game delays (although perhaps we could turn it in to that). It is far less interesting,…

I emailed this to Gabe Newell and Doug Lombardi about 5 minutes ago. Hopefully it doesn't fall on deaf ears.
I thought you should know of my recent experience with your company, so I thought I would take a moment and share it with you.
My Steam account was stolen on Monday. You can imagine I was a bit freaked out, as my account contains hundreds, if not thousands of dollars worth of games that I have amassed over the years. Additionally, I also had a credit…

Well ladies and germs - I must apologize once again. There will be no Axe Factor this week. Brent and I recorded the entire show yesterday, only to look down and notice that nothing was actually recording!! Doh!!
So, we will call that the secret, lost episode of TAF (the one you…

I've got a couple more movies in progress, stay tuned for some more "Behind the Axe" next month. I'm travelling at the moment and have no time to make those videos cuz of that. But I'm somewhat settling down next month in Tokyo (studying Japanese, Whoppp!), so I'll try to finish the videos I already started! Haha!
The website is awesome btw!

Watching forward to the upcoming AxeFactor!
Do U think it's possible to filter all the members that are ONLINE.
Or filtering the people from different countries...?
Just a thought.
Cheers Peter

Graham Gadzia said… I love the new site man. I think it would be really cool if you guys would talk about Robert Space Industries and Star Citizen on the next episode of EBC. I believe THAT game is the true future of gaming in emersion and graphic fidelity.

0%Grab the scissors and run, its The Axe Factor! This week, we investigate the news that Microsoft decieved the world by running their E3 demos on high-end Nvidia gaming rigs and why the company suddenly finds itself in such troubled waters. Plus, we examine Tom Clancy's The Division, go hands-on with Remember Me, The Last of Us, and more!

As I am typing this, we're deep inside the annual summer gaming drought of 2013. The last interesting current gen game I played was Bioshock Infinite. I'm now waiting patiently for The Last of Us to drop through the mail slot. In the interim, I have amused myself by going back and playing a whole bunch of the old Metroid titles. And I've had an absolute blast doing so. It's been one of the most nostalgic and satisfying gaming periods of my entire life. I replayed and finished all five of the…
After some discussion with the axeheads I asked myself what I want out of the next generation of gaming. And my answer is suprising. |It is neither better grafics or better AI. It does not even have to do with hardware.
What I want from the next generation the most is the introduction of used game sales for digital games. As soon as one of the major platforms does that I will go all digital, never looking back.
So, what would you like to see?
This bold statement was made by Nintendo and features on the Polygon site.

Personly i do, considering that most of the games made today and which are gonna be made for the Next-Generation of konsoles will be like before.

Step one: its EpicBattleCry! E3 2013 has played host to exciting game news, dramatic moments, and, some would claim, out-and-out homicide. From EA dropping the AT-AT foot to Jack Tretton dropping the mic, this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo will certainly go down as one of the most memorable. With DK still on full-time looking-good-in-LA duty, Brent and Tony sat down to discuss Nintendo's showing at this year's show, the fallout (good and bad) from Sony and…

The Last Of Us is a slow game, intentionally slow, because it has a story to tell and takes the time to do it. Naughty Dog knows that if you're not making an "action" game, then you need to engage…Continue
