whats YOUR game of the year?

so what are yalls GOTY?  i know for me it was hands down Halo4. i played some great games this year all over the bored in terms of genera, but halo 4 has been the most fun iv had all year. the SP and MP are great,and playing as the MC again just felt so good,and the MP has the best "carrot on a stick" reward system iv seen in awhile, giving you more reason to keep playing. iv had so much fun playing it with friends that there is no way it could be anything else.      so sound off on what are…See More

Halo 4 WOW

so i just beat halo 4 tonight with my friend on co-op. and OH.MY.GOD. this is the game is amazing. the sound in this game blew me away, the guns the music everything. the graphics to are just stunning. halo has always made me stop and look around at the huge world im playing in, but man this game i stood there for minutes looking at the place. ill admit the game started off kinda slow and i wasnt really feeling it for a while. but once the bad guy showed up it started to feel right and things…See More

Spec ops : the line, a great game not to be missed!

Since i heard about spec ops the line i was all ready interested in the idea of showing the effects of war and fighting on the solider. sadly when the game came out i was unable to get it if i wanted money for other games that got ranked higher on the "buy it" list. but now i have the game and must say that i am very happy with it.  The controls are good and really only frustrated me every now and then, mainly due to how you must face the thing you want to take cover behind to take cover. i…See More

Today I 'ave been mostly rememberin': Metroid Games

As I am typing this, we're deep inside the annual summer gaming drought of 2013. The last interesting current gen game I played was Bioshock Infinite. What is your greatest wish/expection for the new generation?

After some discussion with the axeheads I asked myself what I want out of the next generation of gaming. And my answer is suprising. |It is neither better grafics or better AI. It does not even have to do with hardware.

What I want from the next generation the most is the introduction of used game sales for digital games. As soon as one of the major platforms does that I will go all digital, never looking back.

So, what would you like to see?
