Battlefield 4 beta impressions

So after 3 hours in the beta I have to say WOW.  Before I start i will state I am playing it on the PC with max settings.Graphics, Textures and Meshing oh my.  The graphics in this game for being a beta are amazing the amount of detail in everything is bar none.  One example is you can actually read the writing on the guns ie manufacture and serial number.  The water is mostly the most impressive feature for once in a shooter multiplayer the water isnt flat.  It pitches and wakes about throwing…See More

Steam OS and other possible contenders

With the announcement of Steam OS by valve today I stand in awe.  Origianally I thought they would just do a steam box with linux on it but I had no idea they would custom make it into there own OS let alone let you change OS coding at that.  This really shows to me hence the awe factor, valve is poised to enter the living room with intent to kill.They have also stated that they have managed to get higher CPU performance out of the OS and are working on sound and latency from imput devices. …See More
