As anyone who's actually used them knows, the history of forums and The Axe has been troubled at times. Threads were lost, member info was misplaced, babies were slapped. As many features as this new…Continue

Grab the scissors and run, its The Axe Factor! This week, we investigate the news that Microsoft decieved the world by running their E3 demos on high-end Nvidia gaming rigs and why the company suddenly finds itself in such troubled waters. Plus, we examine Tom Clancy's The Division, go hands-on with Remember Me, The Last of Us, and more!

Step one: its EpicBattleCry! E3 2013 has played host to exciting game news, dramatic moments, and, some would claim, out-and-out homicide. From EA dropping the AT-AT foot to Jack Tretton dropping the mic, this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo will certainly go down as one of the most memorable. With DK still on full-time looking-good-in-LA duty, Brent and Tony sat down to discuss Nintendo's showing at this year's show, the fallout (good and bad) from Sony and…

Sleep after you're dead, its The Axe Factor! E3 is finally here and next-gen blood is already in the water. Tony Grice joins us as we discuss all the news coming out of the day-zero press events and stand witness to the opening salvo of the new console war.
NOTE: There was a problem with the audio quality on my recording and, while I've done all I can to minimize the effect, you're going to hear a buzzing sound while I'm speaking. Just…

Before E3, Team EBC talks about its most anticipated moments of this year's show. Plus, Master Chief goes mobile, Fable gets a remake, Disney teams up with Harnomix and is Arkane being Preyed upon? All of that and more on this momentous edition of gaming's most brutal video podcast.…

I could put up a guide on how I did it, but maybe you want to work out a bit of css-code to be used on your side of things, so users only need to copy-paste some HTML and put their names in.
Let me know, I don't mind preparing the code for you. Busy in web-development lately anyways. Punishing myself with ASP.net atm, so a bit of html/css is very welcome and easy by comparison :P
Starwind said… Thanks for the add Brent! I'm a long time listener of the show and just recently created at profile on the new site. The last axefactor enticed me to get more active with the community here so congrats! You and Lorin talked me into it haha
nGAGE said… Sent you a PM with easier to read code for users for implementing the gamerTag with images. ;)

PLEASE don't let Lorin trick you into overpaying for games. Borderlands 2 is $36 at GreenmanGaming, among other deals here at my favorite site!!
jeffamiller79 said… I like the work so far on the new site. Keep up the good work and I know you all will be dedicated to the cause.
Patch said… I joked with Lorin that if he could convince you to play Borderlands, he might be able to get you play Battlefield too lol. And being left behind by your friends in a game, I know that feel brother :,(
Esteban Manriquez said… You should take the Pop filter off your Mic. I think it would add a cool Vader effect to the show. Just really mucusy
Amrit Randay said… Thanks Brent. Yeah, I'm just trying to make my page look as awesome as possible. As you can tell, it's a Red Dead Redemption theme. Still ironing out the details.
Rowan - AzureCantabile said… If you had doubts about Resident Evil 6, may I point out that Jake's campaign has a mini-boss with a chainsaw that:
- is powered by his heart
- has his ribs as an arm guard
- has his spine restructured to form the CHAIN.

As I am typing this, we're deep inside the annual summer gaming drought of 2013. The last interesting current gen game I played was Bioshock Infinite. I'm now waiting patiently for The Last of Us to drop through the mail slot. In the interim, I have amused myself by going back and playing a whole bunch of the old Metroid titles. And I've had an absolute blast doing so. It's been one of the most nostalgic and satisfying gaming periods of my entire life. I replayed and finished all five of the…
After some discussion with the axeheads I asked myself what I want out of the next generation of gaming. And my answer is suprising. |It is neither better grafics or better AI. It does not even have to do with hardware.
What I want from the next generation the most is the introduction of used game sales for digital games. As soon as one of the major platforms does that I will go all digital, never looking back.
So, what would you like to see?
This bold statement was made by Nintendo and features on the Polygon site.
nintendo-if-youre-worried-about-used-game-sales-make-better-games
Personly i do, considering that most of the games made today and which are gonna be made for the Next-Generation of konsoles will be like before.

The Last Of Us is a slow game, intentionally slow, because it has a story to tell and takes the time to do it. Naughty Dog knows that if you're not making an "action" game, then you need to engage…Continue
