In Tomb Raider, however, the violence almost seems to be working against the origin story they said they wanted to tell. I'm not making an argument for or against violence; that's beside the point here. What I'm trying to say, and what I think DK was saying, is that there is a place and time for violence, and it has to make sense within the context of the story.
