Great show as always Axe Lords!
I think the writer over at the Escapist really missed the point of the GTA franchise. It is PARODY! From the names of the cities, to the commercials on the radio. I can understand that just glancing at the game on a surface level you can come to the conclusion that it is as the media calls it "a murder simulator", but when you look at it on a deeper level you come to find out that its really poking fun at the obsession society has with violence. I'm around the 5 hour mark in GTA V and I have to say I am really enjoying it from a narrative standpoint. I actually do find the characters relatable on some levels. I think the better question the writer should have brought up was why do we play GTA in the first place?
