I honestly cannot believe these people have nothing better to do with their time than to make such stupid accusations about a franchise that has been around for over a decade. I pulled this article from mashable.com and the link is below:

What do you guys think? Is this even worthy of discussion?

While I usually never agree with all the stupid things PETA does, I think it is a very unique and create approach to their opinions on Pokemon. I mean they made a game that kinda sounds fun. You play as a Pokemon beating up trainers to free other Pokemon.

about 16 years late on that one, but hey I'll give PETA an E for effort

aww I was hoping that I'd finally be able to BEAT THE SHIT out of squirtle.

I played it and thought it was surprisingly funny. They even make fun of themselves a few times.

You actually spent the time to read the dialogues? That's hardcore.

I got to the part where you fight professor Juniper and then I just shook my head and closed the browser. I'll give them this though... the graphics are better than B&W2 which is kind of sad.

In the end you fight Evil Ash Ketchum.

Identifying with games and game characters

This is actually just a copy-paste of my most recent comment on this weeks Axe Factor. I've long intended this as a blog post, which is why it appears here as well.

I haven't heard the podcast yet, but I felt like writing a response to the question to this weeks poll, "Have you ever had a "That's Me!" experience with a video game character?"

The answer is yes. One of the most powerful gaming experiences for me the last couple of years have been To The…

To all Axeheads: Send in your audio-farewells for EBC

UPDATE: Since we ran into technical difficulties while recording one segment of the Axehead Assembly, we have to schedule a re-recording and thus the deadline for sending in your audio files is extended to Friday.

Hey everyone.

For our 50th episode, the crew of the Axehead Assembly wanted to do something special.

In regards to the termination of EBC we thought it might be a nice idea, to let all the Axeheads who are interested in recording a little goodbye/thank…
