Lorin, the Oculus rift looks cool and all, but you have to think about the support it may or may not get. I want to play a new Zelda, but I'm not ready to plunk down my cash for a Wii U until I see those games on the store shelf - same goes for the Rift.

It's kind of funny that you sold your VITA to get it, because your impulse seems to be the same, and the VITA didn't get enough support either. I can see a scenario where it becomes forgotten very quickly as a fad due to limitations on control, and lack of support. Hawken is an OK game and Doom 3 is OK, but not really a game I want to experience so badly that I am ready to pay a ton just for that.

BTW, this is Ian from Taiwan - happy episode 101!

@Lorin If you are into Sci-fi VR etc you should check out a self-published book called Complete Atopia Chronicles

EDITOR: Just bought it!!

Seems like the Rift is Lorin's new PSVita. He'll get really excited about it, will hype himself up about it and it will ultimately come out and be underwhelming to how he thought it should work and lack amount content per his standard. Then he'll whine about it and sell it for the next new thing that may underwhelm as well.

Did you guys read the new rumor about the PS4 maybe called PS Omni? It will have goggles, too.

I don't know much about the oculus rift but I am not sure I want to wear something like that one my head. I am already wearing glasses so whenever I watch a 3d movie its an extra layer. Regardless of that I am not sure if I like the idea of something flashing into my eyes at such a close range. The closest I get to any screen would be my 3ds and vita at about 30cm, then further with the ipad and then an arms length is my pc screen.

If anything I am more interested in how they evolve this.

Today I 'ave been mostly rememberin': Great Gaming Gaffs

Hello fellow Axeheads! As the great AVGN would say; "What a shitload of fuck!" I am, of course, referring to the Xbox One. Everyone has been frothing at the mouth and having seizures over the calamitous reveal.

Now... It's not really my place to jump on the wagon of despair. After all, I don't own an Xbox 360 and…

Dear Microsoft

Hi Microsoft its me, the little guy who's been buying your consoles for the last ten years. Just wanted to let you now how excited I was by your new console reveal. Sure I would have liked to see more games (maybe even one being played) but I get why you didn't go that route. The reveal was a focus on the system itself right and you wanted to keep it relevant to actual specs and functionality, like when you announced a Halo TV show. Things like that were why people tuned in and I'm sure its…
