Comment by Alekzis on February 12, 2013 at 7:26am Lorin, you're not alone. I also had to wash my boxers by the time i was done listening to the show, it's just too good!
Comment by Christer Lindqvist on February 12, 2013 at 8:05am Thank you for another great show guys!
I been playing Some Colonial Marines since the launch this midnight
I must admit.....I do agree with all the reviews I´ve seen today. (all have been very poor)Corridor, shoot a bit. Another corridor shoot a bit. Poor animations(faces mostly)
And tons of more things.
Isen´t it Gearbox that have made this? Considering they made Borderland games, that I love to bits, I expected more
Am sure some will like/love it. But I personally am very disappointed.
Anyway. Sorry for being a negative nacy guys:)
Take care!
Comment by LordX on February 12, 2013 at 9:20am I'll forgive you for forgetting my name this time (in regards to the claptrap machinima) Lorin... This time =P
Anywho, great show guys. I never backed Wasteland 2, but really wishing that I had now. The gameplay looks fantastic and right up my ally as I love that old school Baulder's Gate style.
Been very tempted to play Mutant Mudds too... Now even more hearing Brent talk about it again XD
Comment by Resident Emo on February 12, 2013 at 9:45am I have to admit I am quite saddened this episode wasn't called "12 inches of space between them", talking about Brent describing branching choice trees. Then again, Lorin didn't call him on that either :P
Comment by Tokyochuchu on February 12, 2013 at 10:46am Don't usually do this, but I'm going to paste a user review of Aliens: Colonial Marines from Metacritic that made me almost piss myself;
"Fantastic game! Will play daily. Its refreshing to see other publishers follow THQ's successful business model of great quality games for fans. Cutting out a big part of the single player to sell as DLC will be well received and can't wait to buy that too."
LMFAO!

Comment by Tralamazza on February 12, 2013 at 11:09am I'm getting http://www.podbean.com/404.htm on the download link, anyone else?
Comment by Mincho Hristov Ivanov on February 12, 2013 at 12:05pm I wish someone makes a co-op S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl instead of all those "Z" games... id rather explore the zone with my buddies as stalkers rather than shooting generic zombies...
The Wasteland 2 video was nice :D more power to them...
Btw i have a suggestion about the "What We’re Playing" section... try to play one old game for evry show... a game in the same gerne as the one you are currently playing but a few years back :D i can tell you i tried that with Legend of Grimrock and Wizardry 8 and it rly puts things in perspective...surprising...thow sometimes the results are wiered...playing Demon Souls and Severance side by side was ..wow..

Comment by milkntruffle on February 12, 2013 at 1:41pm I have a related question, Tralamazza and Axel...for the past few episodes, regardless of where I try to download TAF (iTunes, off the download link above), it downloads RIDIC slow compared to other files of about the same file size (~40 MB or so).
Why might that be? Generally, I'm downloading the show a few hours after it's gone up, so maybe the server is busy with downloads from others? Or some slowness intrinsic to the server? I don't really know what I'm talking about but I like saying "server" :).
Love the show, grateful to Brent and Lorin for bringing me news and silent chuckles on a weekly basis :DD

0%Hi Microsoft its me, the little guy who's been buying your consoles for the last ten years. Just wanted to let you now how excited I was by your new console reveal. Sure I would have liked to see more games (maybe even one being played) but I get why you didn't go that route. The reveal was a focus on the system itself right and you wanted to keep it relevant to actual specs and functionality, like when you announced a Halo TV show. Things like that were why people tuned in and I'm sure its…
Hello Everyone, this is my first blog and I want to talk the Arkham series and it got me thinking. After watching the Official trailer i had the thought ... if this the beginning of the Cape crusader, will there be references going into Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. For example In the Arkham city when you are finding Ra's al Guhl, Talia keeps making reference of the league of shadows and how Batman did not proceed in finishing his initiation of the league. Another point, is this the start…
Yeah....that's right. Only this time it ain't me!!
Sorry to say it folks.....but all the forces of Valhalla could not stop the plague from descending upon the almighty Viking Brent. His delicate and angelic pipes could not perform for you on this day. But rest assured.....he will…
Hey fellow Axeheads! It's been a looooong time since I posted a blog, but now that summer is right around the corner, I wanted to take the time and talk about my most anticipated games between the months of June and September. Here are the top 3 games I'm interested in this summer:
3. GTA V (September 17)
To close out the summer, Rockstar is bringing us my number 3 most anticipated game, GTA V. You might ask, why is this game only at the number 3 spot on the list? Well…
When I was growing up, I remember playing alot of simulation games where you’d create either a hospital, a theme park, a zoo, you name it there was a `Tycoon` game for it. Now a new indie game has come out of the wood work and brought back such fun memories of said childhood. This is Game Dev Tycoon.
Game Dev Tycoon starts you out small, working from your garage with 70K, no fans and little knowledge of what is…
