Comment by Israel Pacheco on February 26, 2013 at 10:37am Great show Axe Lords!
I'm happy to see a continuation of the inFamous franchise and I'm excited to see the possible new direction they are moving the series in.
Killzone Shadow Fall looks looks fantastic. I really liked how the trailer looked very different aesthetically to the Killzones of the past. I have to say that the Killzone franchise has really grown on me over the years. As the series has progressed I've liked each iteration more than the previous one.
As far as the PS4 goes, I know I will be getting one, I'm just not exactly sure when. To me it all comes down to the price and the launch titles. If the PS4 comes out at a expensive price point with no games then I will not be getting it. And this comes from the guy who picked up a Playstation 3 for 599 us dollars with Resistance a month after launch lol.
I definitely have to watch the keynote by Jenova Chen after the discussion you guys had on it. The mention of Joseph Campbell and the monomyth/hero's journey has been something that came across my mind while playing through Journey, and to know that Jenova implemented these ideas into the game just solidifies what a masterpiece it really is.
I just finished the first section of Sly Cooper last night (feudal Japan) and had a real good time with it. Excited too play the next section (1800s wild west) since Brent seems to have really enjoyed it.

Comment by Esteban Manriquez on February 26, 2013 at 11:55am Zen Studio plans on having 10 Star Wars Themed tables and will release them in packs on the consoles and individually on other platforms. Remember that the 360/PS3 versions allow for a demo of each table so go try it out.
-Pinball FX2 on Xbox LIVE – February 27th for $10
-Zen Pinball 2 on PSN for PlayStation 3 & PlayStation Vita with Cross Buy – February 26th in NA for $9.99, February 27th in Eur for €9.99
-Zen Pinball 2 on the Mac – February 27th for $2.99/table
-Zen Pinball on the Apple App Store – February 27th for $1.99/table
-Zen Pinball HD Google Play– February 27th for $1.99/table
On the Apple App Store and Google Play they will offer a Stand alone version but I suggest getting it with Zen Pinball so you all get the free Sorcerer's Lair table. There is also no word of the WiiU release, hell even NA has still not had the game available almost a month after the EU release.
Comment by Johnny Blaze on February 26, 2013 at 12:13pm both ps3 and nextbox are x86 architecture
we will most likley see both consoles as pc multiplat in the next gen
Comment by EBJ-Immano on February 26, 2013 at 12:55pm Guys, hate to nag, but the past few shows have been incredibly slow to download for me, we're talking dial-up speeds while Steam or Origin downloads reach 8MB/s on my 100Mbit fiber connection, have you changed the storage provider or something?
Comment by Bart Jay on February 26, 2013 at 2:05pm @EBJ-Immano - Same here mate. I have a super smooth connection and never had problems with gaming online but the last 3-4 episodes of EBA and TAF are sooooo slooooow to download..sometimes they just stop..I'm waiting impatiently for episode 106 to download 'as we speak' ;)
Comment by EBJ-Immano on February 26, 2013 at 2:47pm It might be a regional thing since it's not everybody (I'm assuming that by the lack of lynching). It still sucks, took me almost 1.5 hours to download.
Comment by Bart Jay on February 26, 2013 at 2:49pm slightly below 1 hour here..very weird indeed..
Comment by Fabian Winkler on February 26, 2013 at 2:54pm I get a 20kB/s download from Germany :(

Many, many people have opinions on the next generation of consoles, gaming and what appears to be a new breed of multimedia devices. As a consumer and with an avid interest in technology I hope I have a unique look at what has been presented as the future of what we all love,…

Hello fellow Axeheads! As the great AVGN would say; "What a shitload of fuck!" I am, of course, referring to the Xbox One. Everyone has been frothing at the mouth and having seizures over the calamitous reveal.
Now... It's not really my place to jump on the wagon of despair. After all, I don't own an Xbox 360 and…
Hi Microsoft its me, the little guy who's been buying your consoles for the last ten years. Just wanted to let you now how excited I was by your new console reveal. Sure I would have liked to see more games (maybe even one being played) but I get why you didn't go that route. The reveal was a focus on the system itself right and you wanted to keep it relevant to actual specs and functionality, like when you announced a Halo TV show. Things like that were why people tuned in and I'm sure its…
