What is up Axe Head Army!!!

Obviously we all collect and enjoy games since we are all members of this great community, but I was thinking...what other gaming related items do you guys collect? Art books, figures, statues, posters, etc. Those are some of the things I personally collect. What do you guys collect?

I collect all MGS material I can find.
I started collecting the games from NES to present generation. But lately I started to collect MGS figures, magazines, posters etc.
Not sure why I'm doing it. I send everything to my moms place since I live abroad... :S

Very nice collection of books and statues/figures there. I try to collect art books as well, especially in regards to the JRPGs that I play. Statues I have a few, The Alduin one from the Skyrim Collectors edition being my pride and joy x) (but that's also because I collect dragon statues of all kinds).
I've also found myself collecting various gaming posters. Most of which I have gotten through EB games. These include GTAV, Batman Arkham City, Final Fantasy XIII, and (the one I Cherish the most) The Legend of Zelda: OOT 3D. I also have one for Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland (picture below)

@Rune Fredriksson: Dude there is SO MUCH Metal Gear stuff out there that its overwhelming! It sucks though that you live abroad and can't display it :(

@LordX: Thanks bro! The Ocarina of Time poster is pretty badass!!! I like the design of the FFXIII one. I was gunna put up some pictures of posters I currently have up but didn't want to over do it on the post. I have a couple framed ones up in my room and a bunch of unframed ones in my closet.

It's just books for me. I love me a good story that expands on a universe I like.

@Israel Pacheco thats some nice artbooks you have there. What's that "Uncharted: Drake's Journal"? I've never seen it before :O

I'd love to have Uncharted Drake's Journal. Can you take some snaps from within the book?

Comment by Neotericity on February 7, 2013 at 6:19am

I can't afford to collect anything other than books (not game-related), but would love to see pics of other's collections, because these are awesome!

@Docwoor: That's interesting. Now that I think about it, I've never read any gaming books where they expanded the universe. I should check one of those. Any recommendations? Uncharted Drake's Journal is a behind the scenes book on Uncharted 3 written by Nolan North, the voice actor who plays Drake. The version I have is also actually signed by Nolan North.

@Fredrik Pedersen: I'll take some pics of it later on tonight and post them in the blog :)

@Neotricity: Thanks man! Yeah hopefully we see other members share any collections they have :)

Comment by Fredrik Pedersen on February 7, 2013 at 8:56am

I think all the versions are signed by Nolan North, I read there are only 500 of them

Btw, I'm surprised not to see the Journey art book in that stack

The mass effect books are nice (the ones written by Drew Karpyshin) There are a few warcraft books that are nice. There are a lot of very good starwars books, i wish the games would expand on that side of the canon a bit more. Then there is an eve book, that didnt really do it for me. And then there is D&D, lots of books there too.

I know StarWars and D&D aren't really books about gaming universes, but there are so many games set in these universes that for me the line where gaming ends and movies/geekdom starts blurs a lot.

Congrats on the signed uncharted book, a signature (read, red lipstick:) from Emily Rose and/or Claudia Black would be even more epic:)

Gamer or QA tester? Early Access (long)

On the 16th of May 2007 the Halo 3 public Multiplayer Beta saw release for members of Microsoft's Xbox Live Subscription service. It contained 3 maps, a handful of game modes to play as well as a selection of the new weapons added in the sequel. Ostensibly the build was disseminated to test the matchmaking system, network loads and game balance but the use of an outdated iteration or 'Build', the heavy marketing and it's bundling with another…
