well, being able to play my PS4 titles on my vita has indeed been well worth the Vita's purchase (not to mention the myriad of titles exclusive to the platform), but I usually only play the PS4 games when I am in a pinch, or in bed. What drives me utterly bat-shit-insane is making the back touch panel work for me. Using the mortar in AC4 or whatever actions Ground Zeroes has mapped to the back, is so absolutely frustrating. My fingers rarely ever find the sweet spot on the first or second try. And sometimes it just doesn't even seem to recognize my touch. That's probably me just touching the wrong thing, but still. With actual buttons, you don't have this issue.

So, here comes Borderlands 2. The non-shooting/aiming shoulder buttons are, what, Special Power and Grenade? Don't know about you, but as a Siren, I'd use my siren power a WHOLE lot. To not be able to have that readily available would probably have me buying a new vita in no time flat (frustration = throwing the damn thing out the window... oh, yeah, and buying a new window, too).

Sounds like devs need to refine their use of deadzones on the rear touch to prevent accidental usage, but personally i have little to no issue with the rear touch either on vita or ps4 games. Also a game-grip really can alleviate the 'accidental touch' problem.

- Get one of these :)

Considering it runs pretty crappy on everything (minus the PC obviously) this isn't surprising, still sad though.

Abberjam has magic fingers. How do you do it? I seldom seem to get it right.

No Axe Factor This Week

Thursday Throwdown: The State of the Gaming Industry Today.

EDIT: As I'm sure was probably evident to most everyone that actually took the time to read this rant, I was a bit sauced, or three-sheets, if you will. After working myself up into a drunken nerd rage it became apparent (to my inebriated mind) that I needed to share my thoughts with the world... EBC's slogan of “Cry havoc and let your voice be heard!” was a call to arms I couldn't ignore. That being said, after reading this sober, I've gone back and made a few…

This isn't a thread about PC being better than consoles. It is already a fact, just as a higher frame rate is better than a so called filmic 24 or 30 fps experience. But enough of that, there is…Continue
