After some hours of Child of Light I have to say, I don't like it. My biggest gripe is that characters don't regenerate outside of combat.

I was just about to post about how I liked the game on the Vita. I like the combat. Seems like it will be hard to lv up. The monsters don't seem to regenerate.

I forgot all about that game. I'll have to check out the demo first.

I played it in fits and spurts and finally finished it. I enjoyed that I did not have to grind much in order to keep advancing in the game. I found that I could use all of the characters in very strategic ways. Art style and music were good, but just could not play for extended periods of time. And the non-regeneration sucks to some degree. Just use the water drop guy out of combat. Healing Aurora heals everyone. Have to wait for him to regenerate power, but it doesn't take that long.

For me the Firefly only regenerates Aurora, nobody else from my party. And mana is hard to come by.

Play it on an easier setting? Use items and collect those sparkly bits. Mana does burn fast on multiple mobs and bosses, but if you shuffle you characters around it is never a real problem.

I only have two characters. So, shuffling is not an option yet. And the sparkle stuff gives only 3 MP per flower.

Ah, well it is a bit slow off the line, but that early the melee attacks and the oculis are the focus.

The Axe Factor Poll!

Do YOU think console makers should keep it simple?
Yes, I need a controller, graphic horsepower, and an 'on' button...that's it 0%
Its not realistic to think mainstream consumers will buy a device that only does one thing0%
I actually like all the entertainment options and hope they can be balanced with gaming0%
Keeping it simple is fine, but if everyone does that then no one stands out; console makers half to also stand apart0%

RE: Exclusive live scene from TLOU: One Night Live - Its time to grow up and stop acting entitled

Well, I was going to keep this short enough for a status but I wasn't able to manage it, so I decided to make a blog and boy did I run with it (I shouldn't be allowed near these things) So, here's my 10 cents worth:

I'm getting tired of hearing about 'internet rage' over game-related issues that really have nothing to do with what you deserve or what you are owed.

In this particular case, yet again fans of The Last Of Us are getting up in the grill of…
