I beat Witcher 2. I hope Witcher 3 can live up to the hype because I am not that impressed with the first two. Interesting but SO flawed.

Sorry, but after having everyone tell me how amazing this game is for the past years I came away pretty disappointed. There were far too many times where I was forced to follow the wiki step-by-step to understand what had happened, where to go next, and what to do. It didn't help that it took me until Chapter 3 to find out my game was not patched and up to date, so I encountered a good number of frustrating glitches along the way.

Many of the good points were countered by big flaws. For example, the graphics are wonderful, but the animations are laughable. The combat is quick and exciting, but the hit detection and level layout is frustrating. The plot is interesting, but the dialogue is incomprehensible at times.

I enjoyed the games, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered finishing them, but I really have a lot of complaints. If Witcher 3 can really fix all these problems, that would be amazing.

Those are legit reasons I suppose. I didn't have any trouble following conversations or had any bugs at all. Never used wiki, that is absolutely last resort. I used GOG version for both TW1 and TW2. Animations at times are a little stiff sure, especially sexy time scenes. Hit detection was fine for the most part on my end.

I'm sorry to hear you had glitches and bugs. Can't actually remember having any.

Really good game otherwise, I prefered TW1 when it comes to story though.. Might be because TW2s content was split in twain? Also how wasn't your game up to date? I thought it auto updated via the launcher?

I guess because you used the GOG version. Apparently on Steam it doesn't update the patches, I had to DL them from the site, I got 3.3 and then it auto updated to 3.4 from the launcher, weird. Having fewer glitches would have probably improved my experience a lot.

Agreed.. The fewer bugs and glitches there are the better ones gaming experience becomes. Still Enhanced Edition should already be at v3.3 and only needed the v3.4 patch to auto update. Strange..

Axefactor 180. We Get What We Deserve

I would love to change my username to DaySixEdition games.

Greetings fellow Axeheads.  I am once again compelled to write my thoughts in the same theme I wrote every other time in relation to the AxeFactor #180.  Our glorious Axelords Brent and Lorin again ponder as to why it is that our industry treats us like crap.  There is even a pole again for us to express what we feel about the situation.

The pole is missing the ''The industry treats us as we deserve.''   Which is what…

What We’re Watching:…

AC: Unity - The good, the bad and the ugly

The good:

- Graphics. It looks stunning and the amount of NPC's roaming through the city give the game a nice ambiance and make the city come to life like no other game has ever done before.

- Interiors. Much more inside buildings now. Fast short cuts through a house or complete missions taking place in a palace. Not every house is accessible but there is plenty of them to make it divers.

- Riddles. Less hand holding this game. Riddles and murder cases to tease the…

Hatred is not about violence & here's why

PSA: Nothing I am saying is meant to be inflammatory or antagonizing. I am simply informing you the reader on my personal take of the Hatred controversy now that it has been several weeks and we can really take a step back to examine what the issue is.

The Hatred controversy is not about Violence in video games... Hatred is not about Grand Theft Auto, Hatred is not about Halo, heck Hatred is not about Boondock Saints or even Sons of Anarchy. Hatred is about Columbine, there I…
