If PSN is to believed, 27.6% of Ground Zeroes players don't finish the main mission & 47.5% never play a mission after? 21% unlock Deja vu?

Comment by Lance Latham on August 17, 2014 at 9:20pm
I have not unlocked Deja Vu yet.

That's pretty sad. No wonder there are so many single-player games that end abruptly. If people can't even bother to finish a two hour campaign.

I still haven't played it because I have not unlocked "on Steam for $10" yet.

I actually enjoyed the unlockable missions alot more than the main mission

Sounds high actually, but that is because it is a short game. For the full game expect it to be less then 15%, maybe below 10%.

Yeah I actually think that's a high completion percentage, compared to what I normally here when this statistic is trotted out.
Comment by TheRealGamer on August 18, 2014 at 6:56am
Pretty good actually.

There's a a big difference between completing ground zeroes and completing a game like Assassin's creed though. Not to mention that only 21% of players actually even trying the best part of the game is pretty sad.

There's a pretty big difference between playing ONE MISSION of Ground Zeroes and finishing Assassin's Creed, which boasted around an 80% completion around the time of Brotherhood, I think.

This is a design paper analyzing Sonic the Hedgehog 2, my favorite platformer of my childhood, using the Modes, Goals, and Dynamics model. Please enjoy, and I'll follow up any questions. I plan to write a similar Dark Souls paper this week.
