good article, he got some good points but others are not so great in my opinion. and the industry moves already in some of these directions

i read that list of best selling games and think great game design = great sales

Coming from a guy who claims he does not even like games. He prefers movies, and he would prefer to make them. But, have you played Heavy Rain? I enjoy gaming as it is.

Whilst interesting points, I can't help but feel annoyed everytime David Cage gets off his high horse to talk to us common folk... if you want games to be more like movies go make a freakin movie. We're an interactive medium, we have the potential to be way better than movies.

It's definitely an interesting read. I just wish David Cage would practice what he preaches.

I actually totally agree with Cage with nearly everything he said, too many games are the same boring thing, the only thing that separates them are usually the stories and there are alot of subjects that ain't in video games but maybe because they are boring to the current majority of gamers?

He wants games to appeal to a more wider audience similar to films which I can understand and he wants film makers to make games which also makes sense if they are only doing the story, I think there are films that I would want as a video game and vice versa and I think partnerships between different industries is a smart idea for this to actually work since they both lack in experience on each side. While I think video games are better than films and also have potentially alot more of an experience to offer I think both could learn a thing or 2 from one another.

Today I 'ave been mostly rememberin': Great Gaming Gaffs

Hello fellow Axeheads! As the great AVGN would say; "What a shitload of fuck!" I am, of course, referring to the Xbox One. Everyone has been frothing at the mouth and having seizures over the calamitous reveal.

Now... It's not really my place to jump on the wagon of despair. After all, I don't own an Xbox 360 and…

Dear Microsoft

Hi Microsoft its me, the little guy who's been buying your consoles for the last ten years. Just wanted to let you now how excited I was by your new console reveal. Sure I would have liked to see more games (maybe even one being played) but I get why you didn't go that route. The reveal was a focus on the system itself right and you wanted to keep it relevant to actual specs and functionality, like when you announced a Halo TV show. Things like that were why people tuned in and I'm sure its…
