The game is finished on the WiiU, but Ubisoft is delaying its release until September because they want a simultaneous release on the 360 and PS3 as well. This is some bullshit.

Well if the developers wants to do a simultanious release it is up to them really. We could complain but that is mostly bad character so instead hope that they will optimize the crap out of the title until then. I do understand the frustration from not aing able to play a game you want to play.

No, but that's the thing, the developers have nothing to do with this decision and are "pissed."  I didn't have enough room in my initial status to mention that though.

The game is complete for the WiiU, and it's going to be collecting dust until September.  Not to mention, GTA 5 and next gen consoles on the horizon.  This is a terrible, terrible decision on Ubisoft's part.

Yeah, it's one thing to delay a game to polish it up and to fix things, but this is a whole other manner. They should just release it now and have it be a timed exclusive for the WiiU; just like Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge

@LordX Exactly. I just don't understand Ubisoft right now with this decision. Let's put Rayman Origins in the same month as GTA 5, and right around the time when new consoles are coming out. Really Ubisoft? They have basically shot themselves in the foot with this one.

What is the actual reason for the delay behind the scenes?

If I had to guess I'm pretty sure it's a problem between Nintendo and Ubisoft which probably has something to do with money... hopefully one of the companies can confirm the reasons or come up with a solution.
