I stayed away from any info, trailers and such, and I really had my hopes high. How can you squander the probably best movie license there is!?!

Don't ever, ever trust metacritic! They crowned EA as the best publisher of the year for crying out loud. It doesn't get any more false than that. I have to admit though this time the reviews are right, even IGN gave this game a 4.5 or something like that.

well....this is sad, i just watched the Aliens movie getting ready to buy this game, i loved avp1 and 2, and now i think i will pass.

@Alekzis This is true. I saw the TB news video on youtube and seeing EA win best publisher made me sick.

But still, I was never going to buy the game in the first place. Hearing Angry Joe talk about being depressed by how bad the game is, after he made that 10 reasons why Aliens will kick ass is pretty much a sure sign that the game is not very great.
