The rewards include digital soundtrack & artbook for the first lv, copy of RE5 for the second, and the DLC season pass for the final level. Something nice from Capcom for a change.

I mean, steam did this with XCOM: EU (if I remember correctly) and it seemed to go over quite well

Hadn't noticed that Zaknaberrnon, thanks for pointing it out! I think these are great bonuses for anybody that was planning on buying the games on steam.

yeah, and you actually get guardian of light for free when you preorder on steam which i think is a great deal. it's the only tomb raider game that i haven't played and i have heard nothing but praise about it, and it is said to have a truely stellar co-op as well. Thing is i already have a physical copy of tomb raider preordered, so i won't be preordering it on steam, but i intend to pick up guardian of light as soon as it goes on sale.

Yeah, I've got the PS3 copy pre-ordered myself. As far as Guardian of Light goes, it is a great game (got it free from PS+ a while back) and I highly recommend it =)

Oh, I meant the whole "pre-buy the game and it turns out to be pretty shitty."  TB did a video about it yesterday about pre-ordering games and he brought up some really interesting points.  He even mentioned the Tomb Raider pre-orders.

In general, this idea is fantastic and props to Steam for providing. Got a bunch of stuff from XCOM's preorders, like Civ V and DLC. Had I not saved a bunch by going with GMG, I would have preordered Tomb Raider for all the bonuses, too.
