Seems that list is missing Atelier Ayesha and Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. They're out in March, no less.

They were already announced for a while after all

Disgaea! My most anticipated game of this year. :)

I never heard of any of these games, but they look really good. I might check them out :)

Toki to Towa was announced about 6 months ago but renamed to Time and Eternity so not new to me :P I will try this one out even tho it does look a little weird with 2D characters and 3D backgrounds.

I've never been a fan of Disgaea since I haven't really played any of them to be honest except for the 3rd: Absence of Justice but I didn't really get into it when I tried it out not sure why... :/ I may give the franchise another shot however I do feel like Disgaea is more suited as a handheld game probably better off as a vita franchise.

Never heard of The Guided Fate Paradox before, hopefully it's good! :D

@Gabriel Belmont & Amrit Randay

The first Disgaea is definitely the best in terms of story and characters, in my opinion. Also, its naturally the "purist" of the tittles and easier to get into. It's still a grind heavy, class based strategy JRPG but it was really addicting to me and the funny characters helped a lot. The Disgaea D2 being shown here is the true sequel to Disgaea 1 with the same main characters. If you're willing to spend $10 you can get the Ps2 classic on the PSN.

@Ry Marinara Oh sweet. I didn't know it was available on the PSN. I'll definitely check it out.

@LordX I completely failed to see the word "new" so ignore me. :p I'd actually heard about the new Disgaea a while ago, but the other two are news to me!

But speaking of NIS and their awesomeness, I hope we get The Witch and the Hundred Knights this year, too.

@Rialce haha no worries man.
Oh yeah! I had forgotten about that one. They've gone really quiet on it as of late.

The Axe Factor Poll!

How much does the Xbox One-Nvidia "scandal" bother YOU?
A lot. This is one step removed from the Killzone 2 pre-rendered E3 trailer0%
I don't care as long as the games look this good running on Xbox One hardware (which they probably will)0%
Not at all, people are being naive to think this practice doesn't happen all the time0%
I'll reserve judgement until we see if the games look noticeably different on Xbox One hardware0%

No EpicBattleCry This Week :[

Hey all. As I said in this week's episode of The Axe Factor, we won't be able to record EpicBattleCry this week. With DK still out of town and a last minute snag in Tony's schedule, we just weren't able to carve out the time to get together.

In light of today's news vis-a-vis Microsoft, that might not be such a terrible thing since we normally record on Tuesday and we would have completely missed out on discussing this dramatic reversal. In any case, we should be…

Today I 'ave been mostly rememberin': Metroid Games

As I am typing this, we're deep inside the annual summer gaming drought of 2013. The last interesting current gen game I played was Bioshock Infinite. I'm now waiting patiently for The Last of Us to drop through the mail slot. In the interim, I have amused myself by going back and playing a whole bunch of the old Metroid titles. And I've had an absolute blast doing so. It's been one of the most nostalgic and satisfying gaming periods of my entire life. I replayed and finished all five of the…

What is your greatest wish/expection for the new generation?

After some discussion with the axeheads I asked myself what I want out of the next generation of gaming. And my answer is suprising. |It is neither better grafics or better AI. It does not even have to do with hardware.

What I want from the next generation the most is the introduction of used game sales for digital games. As soon as one of the major platforms does that I will go all digital, never looking back.

So, what would you like to see?

Nintendo Says: If devs are worried about used game sales, they should make better games

This bold statement was made by Nintendo and features on the Polygon site.

Personly i do, considering that most of the games made today and which are gonna be made for the Next-Generation of konsoles will be like before.

Sarah Is the most important character in THE LAST OF US. Here's why....*MASSIVE SPOILERS*

The Last Of Us is a slow game, intentionally slow, because it has a story to tell and takes the time to do it. Naughty Dog knows that if you're not making an "action" game, then you need to engage…Continue
