EGM gave Aliens: Colonial Marines a 90, just to put things into perspective here.

In other words, I will be avoiding the internet on Monday. Tomb Raider will be mine no matter what.

I'll be doing the same as Rialce. Don't want to see/read anything until I play the game myself.

Hate to burst your bubble Lorin, but I cant trust reviews anymore
I go by my gut, which has almost never been wrong ^^

I was worried until I have watched some recent gameplay. Once I saw the platforming and exploring in action, I was sold.

Yeah, more numbers that mean nothing except for site viewership, review copies and ad-revenue from publishers! And don't even get me started on the shit-plague that is Metacritic...

Actually that's been the plan for a while now I just failed to mention it here before. I did type up a development document, track down freeware programs to make it and finished the concept art work. Then I spent the last four months doing nothing. I recently came to the conclusion that my idea, while interesting, was waaaay too ambitious a project for me to undertake right now. I hope to revisit the idea sometime in the future but for now it's very much in storage.

So why bring this…
