I have tried resetting the system and I got nothing. I checked the HDMI cables as well. I even put my PS3 in safe mode but nothing is on my screen at all. Now I can't turn off my PS3 with the power button because it's in safe mode (don't know if its fine to just turn it off from the back).

I didn't even touch it for a week, so I have no clue what's wrong.

Nope. I literally have not touched my PS3 for a week because I go to University in a different city and I come home for the weekend. It's the exact same cables, and the exact same setup. I tried to turn it on when I got home, and my TV just said no signal. There is still no signal, but my PS3 is powered on (probably still in safe mode).

Could there be something wrong with my HDMI cable? 

I talked to a Samsung representative and I asked him how to restart my TV.  He said that a more likely problem would be that the PS3 changed settings and is not on HD.  I have my PS3 connected right now to the composite cables and it's working, but I'm trying to set it back to HDMI.  I plugged in the HDMI cable, and went to video output settings and clicked on HDMI.  When I do, however, the screen goes blank for 30s and comes back to SD with the composite cables.  

This is so annoying.  I didn't even touch anything, and it just fucked up on its own.  Thanks for the advice so far guys.

And if there is anything wrong with the HDMI, does anyone have any suggestions for some cheap ones?

Thanks for the suggestion Izzy, but I found one on amazon.ca that seems pretty good. The other one that you sent me doesn't ship to Canada, unfortunately.

Worst case, there is a problem with you PS3 HDMI output. Then youd have to change to component cables for HD
