Comment by Mincho Hristov Ivanov on March 9, 2013 at 9:23pm Hey publishers can sell their new games for 100$ if they whanna... i dont rly care cus ill be buying my stuff on GOG for single digits :D next gen pfah.. i barely stand the games that came this gen and all the crap publishers spawned... on disc DLC/first day DLC/season pass/authenticating servers/always online...who knows how bad things will become next gen...
P.S noone is forcing you to buy games at 60$...you can one---buy the game for the PC 10$ cheaper...two---not buy any of the DLC for the game...three---wait for the games price to drop...

Comment by Mincho Hristov Ivanov on March 10, 2013 at 8:04am @Docwoor dont get me wrong...but your friends are part of the problem^^' when i game with my friends we usualy choose a F2P title so that evryone can jump right in...or we play and older game using hamachi...if the servers are down...i never felt forced to buy any game or any DLC...
Comment by Docwoor on March 10, 2013 at 9:40am Me and my friends have been long time fans of the BF-franchise, so we jumped right into bf3. At that time the season pass hasn't been announced, at least not to my knowledge. so we all got it and played happily for a few months, till the dlc started rolling in. My biggest gripe is that servers running older maps were few and far between and mostly dead, we were forced to buy the new ones. The dlc split the community. It wouldnt have been so bad if the dlc contained only guns and skins, or even vehicles. but the maps were too much, it ruined the game for anyone who didnt want to spend more money.
Its nice now with more and more f2p games.

Many, many people have opinions on the next generation of consoles, gaming and what appears to be a new breed of multimedia devices. As a consumer and with an avid interest in technology I hope I have a unique look at what has been presented as the future of what we all love,…
Team EBC reacts to Microsoft's unveiling of the Xbox One. What should gamers take away from the announcement? How did Microsoft approach its presentation? Why were there so few games on display and WHY IS IT SO BIG?!?! We offer up One opinion after another on this rocket-science-fueled…

Hello fellow Axeheads! As the great AVGN would say; "What a shitload of fuck!" I am, of course, referring to the Xbox One. Everyone has been frothing at the mouth and having seizures over the calamitous reveal.
Now... It's not really my place to jump on the wagon of despair. After all, I don't own an Xbox 360 and…
Hi Microsoft its me, the little guy who's been buying your consoles for the last ten years. Just wanted to let you now how excited I was by your new console reveal. Sure I would have liked to see more games (maybe even one being played) but I get why you didn't go that route. The reveal was a focus on the system itself right and you wanted to keep it relevant to actual specs and functionality, like when you announced a Halo TV show. Things like that were why people tuned in and I'm sure its…
